'Rhymes' looks like it's gonna be stuck at #9 - just had its first white update on Kworb. Pleased that it at least made the top 10 for a while anyway, I didn't think it sounded like a hit of any size the first time I heard it.

Lol she probably doesn't tbf. Kanye's team have confirmed it's his single and included on her album, but her tweets confuse that. I suspect (and hope) she has just made a mistake by saying it's the first single off the album, but who knows. A bit of a mess...

come on, she's clearly seen the reaction and confusion across the web and all the rumour mill spinning away and that lead single tweet just pours fuel to the fire and rihanna does love to stir stuff up. her tweets have gone from 'first glimpse at my new music' to 'lead single'. ridiculous and playing on the fevered mood online.

 

none of it makes sense as a lead single for her for a multitude of reasons. suddenly appearing online, also being on kanye's album, using the concept kanye has created, it not being lead single material considering a 2.5 year absence, the fact she is supposed to be releading the ride ost in march etc etc

Burnin' Up never happened in the UK, it wasn't playlisted by any radio stations. Sweet Talker was the second UK single despite not getting a video. Masterpiece is looking to be single 3? We won't really know until Radio 1 playlist something cause this campaign is a mess.

Yeah it had a music video, cause it was a US single, but never got a push over here. The music channels just play anything that has a video, hence why they picked up Drunk In Love so early :heehee:

Not that it performed any better over there mind! :P The era has been a bit of a mess - as far as I'm aware, 'Sweet Talker' is meant to be the current single yet 'Masterpiece' is being promoted at the moment. 'Sweet Talker' was on the Radio 1 playlist but it seems to have been removed now. Shame as she had the potential to have a successful era following 'Bang Bang' and the fact the album has much better material than her last.
