I don't really get how that's been worked out. Is that 20 million different individuals? And do they really mean people or 20 million television sets had EE on? I mean the all the average views added up equals just over 49 million.

Something I do understand and is also impressive is that there were 11.5m requests on iPlayer last week for EE related programmes (presumably including the first episode, Good Friday episode and the Cliffhanger countdown then) with the flashback episode getting 1m requests in 24 hours - a feat achieved by three other programmes. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2/easte...~p5k6XeClK2iXZM

I was thinking last night. What was the point in Ryan returning for like 2 episodes to try and see Lilly? He kind of appeared then vanished again

He returned for one scene and he didn't even speak! :kink:

After an anniversary week all the soaps are boring for a week or three!!! after, it will improve very shortly i am sure as we have some nice storylines bubbling away that have to shine yet. Id love episodes like anniversary all year round but thats impossible to happen and a lot to ask for. We had almost 2 years of many boring episodes so a week or two wont hurt us and hte episodes are still ok that are been transmitted.
I'm not finding EastEnders even slightly boring right now! Not quite as gripping as anniversary week but I expected that. It's on top form right now
I get that this week wouldn't be as exciting as anniversary week and I think everyone knows that. But it doesn't take away from the fact that it has been rather boring, even if you ignore last week. Particularly so for Monday and Tuesday, at least Thursday started to show new storylines.

'What Are You Doing?'

'BOLOGNESE! I Just Told You *sigh*'

Oh Abi

Careful, Kris, Shazza will be coming on to you next!

I was expecting that box to be full of money which would just so happen to pay for a good lawyer for Dot.

I thought it would be money as well, but maybe she'll find her birth dad and he'll pay for Dot. :D

It was mentioned a while back that Andrew Sachs would be appearing in EastEnders, so maybe he'll be playing Sharon's dad?

I thought Peter and Laurens exit was really sweet and they had great on screen chemistry and Julias theme was nicely used for their departure. I love Linda's mother id love her to join full time.
In a quiet period, Abi really is stealing the show. Intentionally or not, she's just hilarious.

Ellen Thomas (Grace Olubunmi, Mercy's grandmother in the show previously and also the principal in the epic BBC3 comedy Coming Of Age) has joined the show as a new matriach who has "strong ties" to the show.

Ada Fox maybe? :o
