She could barely remember any of it and that was referenced throughout the episode. It does seem odd though but it could be something she's just blocked out. I suppose the only people who know if that'd be possible are those who are mothers themselves.

 

Some rumours already about Sean Slater being Kat's son. I'm not sure about this as it doesn't ring true with what we've seen with Jean.

Oh my god it could actually be sean :drama: Rob Kazinsky is 31 irl so it woukd fit his character would be the same age (I know they aren't always but you know what I mean).

 

I'd rather it was just someone new who kat maybe tracks down rather than someone we already know, this isn't Hollyoaks :lol: As much as that is my fave soap.

Never saw that ending coming, I doubt the boy is anyone we know though, unless its Sean, *.* which ties with the ending

I suppose that could be possible. Yeah I've seen the suspicions that Sean is Kat's son too, but, even though Sean is the right age, I think that is too far-fetched and it would just be a repeat of what's happening between Mick and Shirley, no?

I just can't see Jean standing by when Kat thought Tommy was dead knowing that Kat actually did have another son. Plus the way she always mentioned Sean, it'd be a shame if it was retconned into her not being his mother.

 

Of course, this could always have something to do with the Kat and Alfie spinoff coming up.

oh that's freaky everyone just twigged, Charlie is related to Jean, so it could sound plausible and Jean adopted Sean.

 

Remember Jean was in a bad way when Stacey / Sean were little so she could have been made not to remember?

I don't think even with her bipolar at its worst Jean could have forgotten she didn't give birth to Sean and adopted him, but then I also find it hard to believe that kat didn't realise she had twins. I mean not realising you were at a convent instead of a hospital is plausible when you're a young scared teenager giving birth but how can you forget or not realise you pushed two babies out? :lol: I mean ofc I haven't given birth so I'm not the expert but surely you can't just forget something like that, the pain of giving birth twice!

Also she has Ernie and Bert, <-twins. :P so its not the first time she had twins

In regards to the possibility of Sean being Kat's son, someone on DigitalSpy pointed out that back when Stacey started suffering from bipolar, Jean said she had always worried she passed it on to Sean, so obviously there's things that just can't be unwritten for the purposes of this storyline.

I don't think it will be Sean. It will probably be something to do with Ireland.

 

It's quite feasible she wouldn't remember giving birth again. She recalled giving birth in the 'regular' room, but Sister Ruth said she gave birth in her room. So there was that discrepancy running through the episode until Ruth double checked that it was twins. Kat might well have blackouted out after her first birth and was then taking to Ruth's bedroom where she gave birth again.

 

Today's episode was amazing, well filmed and amazing acting from everyone. It's just a shame we didn't get a brief glimpse of Sean. The highlight for me was Lily saying hi to Sean. So cute.

I would doubt its Sean, it will be interesting to see how it unfolds.

poor Aunt Babe :cry: I imagine Mick & Linda will back up her actions tomorrow since they obviously hate Dean.

We find out who wins the lottery in Thursday's episode and there's certainly not a shortage of characters with money trouble! Mick/Linda, Shirley/Buster, Kat/Alfie, Denise/Kim, Billy/Lola etc. It's set to be a Kat and Alfie centric episode so I think we could rule them out otherwise it'd be too obvious.

I heard rumours it was going to be Masood, but I'd be surprised if it's anyone other than Alfie.
