Sorry to bring someone else up, but DS are speculating that Kathy Beale is what Phil needs to talk to Ian about! :o

Surely EE wouldn't be that daring to bring her back from the dead? Although I would absolutely love Kathy back!

Well, Gillian has finished on Hollyoaks! I would love a return from her

DTC has expressed how much he liked Kathy's character and I'm sure he said he would want to bring her back but not said a way that meant he was planning to, more that he wishes he could.

There were stories before about the producers saying it was their biggest ever mistake, that they'd brought characters back before and were planning on TRYING to see if something would work with Cathy :DDDD

COME ON KATHERR!!

Same, it would be pretty ridiculous, even if the story did somehow work.

I'm liking the theories here! But what about Lucy's blood in Jake's flat? Or did we get answers for that?

Period.

I love that Babs didn't go all pantomime this time and her scene with Mick was more understated than I thought it would be. Although there appeared to be no reason at all for Peggy to be there.

I loved the duff duff because it basically proved that Abi didn't do it.

People are saying her death could be a witness protection thing, which I guess it could but how awful for poor Ben for him to think his mother has died but she actually hasn't and it was a fake or false death

Ahhh a witness protection thing v MM??

BUUT THEn why would she come to yje Square where he be!!

I know it was just a spin-off but DTC has already established Kathy is dead in the Children in Need 2014 clip with Ian being visited from ghosts of his past. Plus surely Kathy being revealed alive would overshadow the lead up of Lucy's killer being revealed and also why would Ian go ahead with the wedding if he realised his mum wasn't dead?
That wasn't canon and they've freely said before it was the biggest EE msitake EVER - we were all like whaaaat?? when they said it at the time aboot Kathy so I agree. They've said they're looking for ways around it and for the 30th Anniversary they're 'only just getting started'. It won't overshadow Lucy - we've been waiting 9 months - and a lo don't care aboot Kathy.

The Children In Need sketch was a dream sequence of Ian's - he still believes his mum to be dead, so I wouldn't think anything of that.
I think creating Abi was the biggest EE mistake ever tbh

I like her for being unintentionally

Good point, Hex Kitten Apreel!!

I'm still very doubtful that Kathy could be alive. Even if it was a witness protection thing, would it really last 9 years? Plus I'm sure it's a choice to be placed into witness protection and I doubt Kathy would want to be separated from her children, especially not Ben who was only about 10 at the time.
"How's Adam?" - using his real name

OMG Tanya messes up in her first scene!
The Power Of Love won the wedding poll <3
Was Jane meant to say something after Ian said she looked beautiful?

Defintiely 100% seems that Jane is covering up for someone (either Cindy, Peter or Bobby).

Hopefully Bobby there is a red herring thing like Abi's  What an anticlimax if it was Bobby. Would they pin a huge storyline like this, possibly one of the biggest ever, on a new 12 year old actor?
