February 27, 201510 yr I picked up the album today as I'm in Ireland for the week. It's actually nicer in reality because it's gold metallic. I love a gimmick.

That'll piss of the chart thread posters if this does get released :lol: but seriously I love the dulcet vocals of both John & Kelly. Both blend in with eachother and compliment perfectly! February 27, 201510 yr Run Run Run was apparently released by Tokio Hotel back in September and Kelly was never informed. I hate when that happens, even though it doesn't really matter. OsNys5X1mEo

March 1, 201510 yr Warpaint and Heartbeat Song are probably my favourites so far, even if the first sounds like it could have been on Stronger! March 1, 201510 yr I just don't get how much stick she is getting for not writing all the album.. She wrote like 4/5 songs? It's not any less cohesive because it has different writers and producers. Kelly's always said that she'll sing other people's stuff if she feels a connection to a song in some way. I don't know what she has to do to please people. She was really sick when she was pregnant so she didn't feel like writing songs. Most pop stars don't write their own songs so why, now that Kelly literally couldn't, is she being thrown to the wolves? We should be thankful, she's given the fans a full album despite having a terrible pregnancy and just having a baby? It may not be her best, her most cohesive, most personal, most hit-worthy. But you tell me one artist that you feel has bigger and better albums every release? It doesn't happen..

I like the direction of this album even if she didn't write it. Her voice is sounding great and the tracks that i've heard so far are excellent. I can't wait to buy this tomorrow morning

I wasn't coming from a place of criticism at all, I absolutely love Kelly and her work in the sense some of the tracks shes written are some of my favourites! Was just hoping this album was gonna' be the same!

March 2, 201510 yr Having now heard the album in full, I'm disappointed :( it has a feeling of "this'll do" It doesn't have that spark Kelly albums normally do and there are very few standout songs. As ti stand this is her worst album along with Thankful.
March 2, 201510 yr I'm really liking 'Take You High', it's a lot of fun. Her vocals are sounding as amazing as ever on this album. It was never going to be her strongest album judging from the lead single, but I'm just happy it isn't terrible and she's still making music. :)
