I also won't raise my hopes too much on King getting #1 but it'd be fantastic if it does! Ellie should be in for at least a 4-week run at the top though her sales may have slowed down enough by March 1st for Y&Y to have a chance! I'm guessing they have the best shot from the new releases that week; Alex Adair, Kelly Clarkson and Marlon Roudette (though all of those will at least make the top 10 I think)

I haven't heard Alex's track yet. Marlon's track sounds good after first listen, but it's already looking like a great music year, what with The Nights, Uptown Funk, Ellie, Outlines, and more :cheer:

Can't believe Outlines is that high! I really deserves to do well, such a great track though I'm still not sure it will be top 10 officially as I can see it doing a Rhymes and being top 10 in the midweeks but top 15 on Sunday

I don't think that's how the music industry works anymore. Before you could take a few years off but if you do that these days (ala Pixie Lott) you just lose relevance. Only a handful of artists can take a good break.

Not a great example using that - Outside wasn't her single, it was Calvin Harris', she just contributed vocals. Strictly speaking, she only had two new top 40 hits of her own last year and neither were huge. This will be her first big hit in over a year.
