I don't think it's deliberate, iTunes must just sometimes have problems with brand new releases showing up (see 'Only One' and 'FourFiveSeconds' which were both missing from the feed for nearly an entire day).

So I guess unless there's a huge number one that week, Bloodstream's going to be #1. At least the song is decent unlike TOL, I'll be backing it up, well, at least for the first couple of months, unless it stays around like his other tracks and I get bored of it :drama:

Or, perhaps the pre-orders will die down by then, but I guess it's pretty rare for a pre to do such a thing, at least in my experience :thinking:

Also, betting it'll be streamed to the max :o

Bloodstream won't chart nearly as long as his other 3 singles, drum & bass songs rarely do - notable exceptions include 'Feel the Love', 'Nobody to Love' and 'Changing'.

Drake's release is a mixtape, but it's being given album treatment (like Bastille's Other People's Heartbreak, Pt. III), so I wonder how well it'll do. Bit annoyed that the already leaked/released track "6 God" is on the release; though 16 other new tracks makes up for that.

Yeah it'll probably stick around longer than your average D&B single, but I can't see it being in the chart come September/October time (matching the longevity of the other 3 singles).

Just because it's Ed Sheeran doesn't mean that's the case at all. I seem to remember him performing Photograph in the X Factor final of all things & that didn't even crack the top 40.
