Anybody know when this is being released? Not heard anything and Now 89 was out in November and thought they were usually every 3-4 months.

The first one of the year is released around Easter so presumably the last Monday in March, give or take a week.
Surely they're waiting for actual hits to happen since a couple of the current top 40 featured on Now 88 :drama:
The artwork will be revealed on Friday! I hope it's not more smiley faced things and an actual pattern (similar to US' NOW 53 cover). Also i wonder what songs will actually appear, especially the Rihanna/Kanye/McCartney song.

I reckon it will be the same as the U.S. NOW 53 cover but with 90 instead of 53. I really hope Rihanna does make an appearance. If Ashley Abram was still compiling the albums, she would definitely be on there

Very true! I imagine all of this week's new entries will feature, they're probably gasping for fillers at this stage so to have a few top tens come in should see them all make the cut.

This has gotta be one of the slowest charts since 2008. Which in this case, they'll have more top 20 songs than top 10 songs or maybe a few top 30

The only worrying thing though is licensing! I know we go on about Taylor Swift, but that's two songs already out, making it even harder to group together 40 hits between NOW 89 and NOW 90. Ed Sheeran, Take That, Fergie, Mark Ronson/Bruno Mars, Ellie Goulding, DJ Fresh/Ella Eyre, Charli XCX/Rita Ora and (possibly) Madonna will make it an interesting NOW though.

I have a feeling that Taylor Swift won't be making an appearance because of licensing. Same reason Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Eminem never make appearances

There'll be plenty of tracks to include on there. It's still not out for about 6 weeks yet...plus they've got a few tracks from last year to catch up on. ;)
I hope Cheryl's last single is included.

And Ed Sheeran's as "Thinking Out Loud" should have been on NOW 89 instead of "Don't"

By what logic?? 'Don't' was the single at the time Now 89 was out so it made perfect sense for it to be included, and 'Thinking Out Loud' will undoubtedly be on Now 90.

Because they usually put the #1 single on there. I did think it was a bit odd to include his previous #8 single instead of his recent #1 single. Instead, they should have put both his songs

Good job they didn't as Now 90 would be Sheeran-less. :P

If they did include both Sheeran songs on NOW 89 and "Bloodstream" became a hit just before NOW 90 is announced, then NOW 90 wouldn't have been Sheeran-less

NOW do like to have continuity though the NOWs, so perhaps they wanted all of the "X" singles on them and Warner only let them have one during the release of NOW 89.

Warner only let them have one during the release of NOW 89.

Warner did this with NOW 87. They only allowed one of their songs ("Riptide") to appear on the album

I meant one song from Ed, not the label. NOW 89 had a few Warner inclusions. ^_^
