I don't know about that. It's not like Mark has caught up or is showing any signs of catching up with Gravity just yet.

UF will still have massive streams at the weekend.

Florence and the Machine exclusive new single premieres this Thursday night at 7.30pm on radio 1!

A lot of girls and women I know LOVE Chris Brown  Evidently his past doesn't put people off - maybe girls are attracted to the danger or something.

You need to show girls like that the pics of poor Rihanna. Make then see how messed up it is. He will NEVER get a penny off me, and he could release Ave Maria!

He doesn't need to (I assume you're referring to iTunes), streaming will more than make up for the small sales gap.

^ We'll see whether he broadens the gap today. If he does then he does stand a great chance of keeping #2. If the gap starts to shrink then he will indeed be at #3.

Referring to the discussion regarding Uptown Funk's placement for this week, I reckon that he will return to #2 at the end, even though he's currently nearly 9k behind #2, as we all know very well streams are grown more and more over the week (especially the weekend) and on top of new entries getting pre's to boost it at first as well as Funk's #1 streaming and Gravity from what I'm looking at isn't on the top 200 Spotify (yes I checked it's UK and latest :kink:) so it's pretty likely Funk is #2 this week :P

So as ^ said, it'll be likely Funk will have around 5k or so behind #3 assuming we get sales today I estimate

EDIT: Well I looked on the Spotify thread but I saw a post from Joey XCX saying that Gravity is now in the top 200  but I even used the UK link in the first post

For some reason not even desktop Spotify updated yesterday but it has now and we have new entries:

:ne: 81. Dj Fresh Ft Ella Eyre - Gravity

Perhaps you have to wait 24 hours or something?

Uptown Funk's streams are starting to drop though, they were at 2.56 million two weeks ago, at 2.34 million last week and at 2.10 million this week. If it continues like this it will be below 2 million next week (probably around 1.84 million). If Gravity can keep selling a lot, there is a chance that it remains #2.

That's very exact for an estimate

2.34-2.10 is 0.24, therefore 2.10-0.24 is 1.84 :P

Rihanna is not more in the top 5? I thought she would have a new position this week.

I would like Kodaline to meet 30,000 sales this week, i fear it will fall short.

Are Roxette in the Top 40 albums, i did think Top 10 would be possible as its Valentines for they have had a few different formats of Greatest Hits that have already had succes.

Just a little tease, Kodaline have slipped... ooops :snif: all will be revealed around 3:30pm to 4pm.
The Official Chart Update starts in a few minutes!

ANOTHER Greatest Hits?! They seem to have released more Greatest Hits than I've had hot dinners

No actually it fell 0.22 two weeks ago, and it fell 0.24 last week. It's drop increases by 0.02 every week, so 0.26 this week.

Bloody Grammys sending Smith to number 1. :nono:
50 Shades Of Grey compilation album on sales of 16.7k

High amount for Sam for Tuesday (as well as Ed, for that matter) but he's started to slip on iTunes so I don't think the rest of his sales throughout the week will be as impressive. It will still hold the #1 placing, though, despite the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack being the largest seller overall.

Are there any sales missing from today's update?

Everything seems to be in order.
