Details are incredibly light on the ground at this stage, but new music for Australian chart darling Delta Goodrem is just weeks away.

 

The latest Sony release schedule has revealed that a new track entitled ‘Only Human’ is due to land in the middle of next month. A quick bit of research reveals that the song was co-penned with long-time collaborator Vince Pizzinga and US-based songwriter Pete Nappi.

 

Naturally, we’ll bring you more details as they come to hand, but mark Friday March 13 in your diary.

Delta’s also due to return to her swivel chair as part of the judging panel on this year’s edition of ‘The Voice’.

I can't wait! She's one of the best popstars around. I loved Child of the Universe, and I hope we get as many tracks as we got with that album. It's such a shame she's never been able to achieve global success though.

I find it a bit hard to be properly excited about her these days, but she ends up delivering a lot of the time.

13th of March... around the same time that Australia will announce its representative for Eurovision. Coincidence?

I have a feeling she'll be tied up with The Voice during the whole of May anyway :(

Wait what??!! A new album already?! But it hasn't been 5 years since Child of the Universe!!

The wait between Delta and Child of the Universe was too long, it would be torture to wait that long again. But, luckily Child of the Universe was well worth the delay.

I wonder if Love Thy Will Be Done or Heart Hypnotic will make the album? Presumably not.

Yeah I doubt either will make it on! I think they're both fine as standalone singles really. Heart Hypnotic felt like an extra for the COTU era also.
