Without streams it'll be like #90 though surely :(

Really want this to do well but no hope.

Plus it sounds like the video will be a bit more complex than 'Jump' or 'Celebration' which director Jonas Åkerlund also directed.

I personally want something like 'Take a Bow' where the video tells a story, although I shouldn't really hold my breath.

I guess we could expect SOME kind of story to it now that there are actual actors in it. Like you say though, lets not hold our breath because this could so very easily add up to less than the sum of its parts.

I'm trying not to think too much about it if it turns out to be a relatively simple video, but when I listen to the lyrics or see Madonna discussing the message of the song, it just shows how much potential it has to have a really interesting video. Don't let us down, Madge!

This is Radio 2's Track of the Week, which means it should jump straight to the B-list (or even A-list) the following week.

Re-entered the UK Download Chart at #173 (previous entered for a week at #125) and debuted at #198 on the UK Radio Airplay Chart with 31 plays and a 4.479m audience.

This song could seriously save this era. I just really need Heart to play a new song of hers, especially as they hammer her classics.

Didn't Heart hammer 'Masterpiece'? 'Living For Love' is pretty much the opposite of what they usually play, maybe they'll play 'Ghosttown'?
'Ghosttown' has an official UK release date of 19th April (four Sundays time). Also, the video filming is complete as of yesterday, so hopefully we can get a video the w/c 30th March.
Debuted at #117 in the UK with sales of 3,280, taking its total to 11.4k.

I'm thinking this could outsell 'Living For Love'.The track itself is much better and would have been a better lead single, who knows maybe had Ghosttown been the lead the album would have managed #01 in America and UK.

'Ghosttown' has held up incredibly well on iTunes and is #115 which is rather impressive. I'm guessing once the video premieres it could at least manage top 75.

I can see their reasoning in having this post album, and thinking it's the best chance of keeping the album afloat after release and after the initial fanbase have bought it.

(Whether it does or not is another matter though)

I've read there will be a 2 track german CD single for this release. I wonder if Interscope will also release a UK remixes CD?

I personally prefer LFL as a song. Though I really like both songs.

However I agree with Lee, seeing as she's more likely to get interest from R2 and Heart than other stations, Ghosttown would have been a more sensible lead single. I still think it has a chance of doing well though. :)

Jumps from #912 to #43 on the UK Radio Airplay Chart with 347 plays and an audience of 17.4m. That's already higher than the peak of #60 that 'Living for Love' reached.
