I'd be happy if Sam did win multiple awards. I know it gets quite tedious hearing 3+ songs of his in the Top 40 along with multiple Ed and George tracks but his album is easily my favourite male album of 2014. Fantastic lyrics, so personal, moving and relatable and the singles that are forever present in the Top 40 sound perfect again when hearing the album in full.

I don't think the International Female is clear cut at all. In fact they tend to stray away from obvious choices dominating the pop scene. Everyone expected Gaga or Katy Perry to win it last year but they gave it to Lorde!

But Lorde was tone of two acts nominated for that award that was actually there, seeing as Taylor's the only one on this year's nominations for that award that's actually there, I'd be surprised if it was anyone else (though it would be a pleasant surprise)

Predictions pour moi:

Mastercard British Album

Ed Sheeran - x

British Single

Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud

British Female Solo Artist

Paloma Faith

British Male Solo Artist

Sam Smith

British Group

Royal Blood

International Male Solo Artist

Pharrell Williams

International Female Solo Artist

Taylor Swift

International Group

Foo Fighters

British Breakthrough Act

Sam Smith

British Video

Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud

International Male & Group could potentially get a 'shock' victor. As could British Single in all fairness after last year's surprise.

george esra and sam smith performers?

no no no. that's put me right off- and even the fact ant and dec are hosting won't change my mind

i hope lana del ray wins. and sia

George Ezra, Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran. It's the chart show posters nightmare!

I think I'll be watching some paint dry on Sunday rather than listening to the chart!!

Really hope these songs don't change the chart too drastically for Sunday, obviously they will climb or be non movers but hopefully they won't cause too much damage

It will be interesting to see whether The BRITS pick Sam Smith or Ed Sheeran for the various awards. I'm gonna do a predictions list now:

British Album: Ed Sheeran - x

British Single: tough choice, I think maybe Clean Bandit - Rather Be

British Female: Paloma Faith

British Male: Sam Smith (I think they'll prefer Sam Smith in general, but Ed Sheeran for album)

British Group: No idea, I'd like Clean Bandit but maybe Royal Blood because they're performing

International Male: Hozier

International Female: Taylor Swift (but Sia or Bey please)

International Group: No idea

British Breakthrough: Sam Smith

British Video: Ed Sheeran - Thinking out Loud or Mark Ronson - Uptown Funk

Not sure I can do the Brits this year, really only here for Paloma. Might have it on in the background whist marking.

Mastercard British Album - Sam Smith - In The Lonely Hour

British Single - Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud

British Female Solo Artist - Paloma Faith

British Male Solo Artist - Sam Smith

British Group - Royal Blood

International Male Solo Artist - Pharrell Williams

International Female Solo Artist - Taylor Swift

International Group - The Black Keys

British Breakthrough Act - Sam Smith

British Video - Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk

British Producer - Jake Gosling

My gut is telling me that Royal Blood will win British Group, I think Sam Smith's fanbase should ensure he wins the British Breakthrough at least. Not sure if I see George Ezra winning any awards sadly. The BRITs seem almost planned at times though, Sia should win International Female Solo Artist really, but Taylor Swift is performing...

Me too, I was supposed to be on a late shift at work so I would have missed this but I've had to change that now.

Think I'll just watch Bake Off instead!

Also, I forgot there's that awful Global Sucess award, Ed mentioned it on Radio 1 today it's him, Sam, 1D and someone else...now that one I'll be glad to forget about......

Rihanna has pulled out. Interesting to see who replaces her
Was Rihanna even officially announced?
Thinking Out Loud is slowly dying, I'm expecting to see it back in the top 10 tomorrow night

Kanye performing (instead of Rihanna?), wasn't going to bother watching but DAMN they've hooked me in now.
He's performing a new track!

Ant & Dec on presenting this year's awards, the first time since 2001.

After "an instant decision to say no" Declan Donnelly says it took a "few drinks" to change his mind about hosting Wednesday night's Brit Awards. Along with Ant McPartlin, the pair return to present the music ceremony after a 14 year gap.

"They have asked us in between (now and 2001)," notes Ant. "And we've said 'no' but it just felt kind of right to do it this time." It turns out the duo had that change of heart on a night out. They also admit they "said never again" after the experience of presenting the Brits in 2001 when nerves got the better of them. "The call came through and we said 'no'," explains Dec. "And we were out and had a few more drinks and started talking about it. "We said, 'If we were going to do it we'd do it like this, and we'd do that', and a few more drinks later we said, 'All right let's change our mind, we'll do it.'" "So here we are," grins Dec.

The pair say they haven't had any restrictions imposed on what they can say or do tonight, but admit some artists have been 'less forthcoming than others' when it comes to joining in the jokes they've got planned. Ant and Dec haven't written their Brits script by themselves, there is a team of writers they use on Saturday Night Takeaway and I'm a Celebrity that they've collaborated with as usual. "We all sit round a table and throw some ideas around," says Dec. "And we just spark off each other. "The guys go away and come up with a draft script," he continues. "And then we all get together and read it through, spark off some more ideas, it will constantly change."

The duo say nerves got the better of them when they last presented in 2001. As you'd expect Ant and Dec aren't revealing any on stage shenanigans beforehand, apart from saying Ed Sheeran won't be as much of a target as he was on Saturday Night Takeaway last weekend. "We put him through enough on Saturday night," laughs Dec. "Standing next to us two with our lack of trumpet and trombone skills," smiles Ant, recalling how Ed Sheeran managed to keep singing live on TV while Ant and Dec played instruments, badly, at Ed's side. "We've always known Ed had a good sense of humour, but he really showed it on Saturday night," says Ant.

There are "no fears" about hosting, just "excitement" at this point, say Ant and Dec, and they'll cope if a few jokes fall flat. "That happens a lot," the pair laugh together. "Anything can happen at this awards show," admits Ant. "And if they want to cause havoc those pop stars and get up to no good then let them do it, we'll just stand along and watch them."

Hopefully it comes across less awkward than James Cordon has done. Their jokes help to make I'm a Celeb so I'm looking forward to it!

Amazed Fuse ODG hasn't been nominated - yet again our black musicians have been snubbed.
