It's less than a week until Rebel Heart hits the UK shelves, but how much do you predict it to sell in its first week?

Her previous album MDNA managed 56k whilst Hard Candy sold 94k.

Personally, I'm thinking perhaps 60k-69k. The increase of quality and promotion from MDNA should hopefully mean it will receive better first week sales, even if the market has declined since.

I think around the same level as MDNA. She's more visible this time which should help to counter the even lower sales, plus the Brits and BUZZ in general seems to be behind her much more this time too. I think all told it will do about 150k too.
I'll be the pessimist here and say 27-29k. I'd love to be proven wrong, though!

I don't think she will be #1 either thanks to the Mother's Day effect.

I'd say Noel Gallagher is more than a threat than any album benefiting from Mother's Day.

I disagree; his second week sales will trail off badly whilst Ed and Sam will get massive increases. She might have to settle for #3, which would make it her lowest charting studio album since her debut. A shame, but I doubt she will care.

I don't think they'll get massive boosts as such, perhaps a boost of some kind but certainly nothing more than what they sold on BRIT week which would probably not be enough to dethrone Madonna. In recent weeks, Madonna seemed to be doing similarly well on pre-orders as Noel so, whilst I'm not expecting a 48k debut on the Tuesday mids, I think that will help her stay ahead of Sam/Ed throughout the week.

Because I didn't think people would have thought she'd debut with under 30k, but obviously some do.

Personally I really don't think it will debut that low; its pre-orders have been too good for just that.

Sub 30k would be a complete and utter disaster for her and if MDNA didn't go that low with a lead single that basically never happened and zero promo/awareness I think she will definitely open with something around 5k of the MDNA figure.
She's on Jonathan Ross on ITV on Saturday but any effect from that will kick in next week. Would have been better to have her on last Sat. I'll say 73k.

It could have made all the difference to her total and possible final position if she had been on this Saturday just gone instead, however what is great about the appearance is that her second-week sales/position should still be impressive. I think Rebel Heart will have more longevity than MDNA.
