CanSeeCanDo is really bad.

It's alright. I wouldn't say really bad, I mean the beat is great but her delivery just sounds disinterested and leaves the track feeling a bit underwhelming.

It's repetitive but decent. Not a patch on 'Bad Girls' / 'Bring The Noize' though.

I can't say I'm au fait with most of her stuff bar the obvious singles and KALA, but yeah, it just feels like I've heard this all before from her.

'Swords' is good, though the best thing to come from her post-Matangi is the GENER8ION song <3

 

 

A little bit of info on the album~

 

“Matahdatah Scroll 01 ‘Broader Than A Border'” is the first in a series of truly global and characteristically DIY M.I.A. releases over the coming months. Each bundle will feature a collection of new M.I.A. songs, each accompanied by videos directed and edited by M.I.A. herself with each video filmed in a different country. The individual sections will ultimately come together to form Matahdatah — a full-length album and film experience about borders.
