From what I've seen about it, this song sounds like an Avicii track, so I don't really feel the need to listen to it. I guess sometimes you don't need to hear a song to know what it sounds like, which can lead to misguided assumptions everybody is guilty of!

If you're really want to compare it to something than rather to Alex Adair. But I guess everything that's dance for you is Avicii?

Let's not forget that you were the one who said Love Me Harder sounds exactly like Break Free :)

I used Avicii as a comparison just because the post above me used it  I suppose any dance songs with country influences will be linked back to him after Wake Me Up, which even I admit was a game-changer.

To clarify, I do listen to plenty of dance music. Tends to be stuff like Garage, drum and bass, dancehall and house while artists like Calvin Harris and Avicii doesn't really interest me much!

That Ariana Grande comparison was one of my most misguided, I agree  Most of my other ones are better though I'd hope.

Not too fond of the fact that hideous vocal edit of the otherwise brilliant Can't Stop Playing looks set to be a hit...

Also how many brackets does a song want

It's OK :D

Just please drop that majority of people on here / Buzzjack etc. (Did I ask you this already?)

Just to explain my view of it: BJ is mainly a chart music forum, at least it started like a chart music forum. What I've experienced the people who are following charts and chart music like a wide variety of music and genres but still they like mostly pop music so it's no wonder that the members are pop fans mostly. Also the music taste of a music forum never represents a country's music taste ;)

Whilst people who are fans of only one or two genres aren't really interested in charts.

I think the RnB & Urban forum is quite active (You're are mostly an urban fan I guess), well activer than the dance forum

In this case, that doesn't apply. For a song to appeal to a majority of people here it must be fairly "pop".

It's not too dissimilar to that Alex Adair track, for comparison sake.

I personally wouldn't compare it to Avicii, well not something like Wake Me Up or The Nights, but I suppose it's a little like Alex Adair with its slow tempo and chillout sound

Big boost for this please

Wait they can't all be used -there's only 12 acts  We shall see.
Would love to see Coldplay's 'God Put A Smile Upon Your Face' finally become a hit. Such a fantastic song from 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head'.
How would something like AWOLNATION - Sail translate at ALL on a competition like The Voice?

It was an awful performance actually

If you buy the video on iTunes for a song not on release- does the video and audio version still go into your library? (You can probably guess which song I am referring to by looking at the video chart top 40 :kink:)

Also hoping luke friend does well when released, the song sounded really good when it was played on the screens just before the show started today

It's OK :D

I didnt think I had been generalising Buzzjack taste recently, at least since you last asked me? No more than anybody else anyway, and definitely not enough to be called up on it again

Actually I saw it for the second time from you recently :P

It's gonna be lucky to make the top 40 at this rate, it's had NO support :(

What show did you go to btw? :o

It does, and very well it seems
