I honestly cannot watch Simon anymore. It's f***ing ridiciulous. I'm sorry cannot fathom how ANYONE can watch him and like it, even ironcally.

This entirely. I was even watching Big Brother with a friend today and her reaction was the same, she jokingly said "I'm gonna throw the remote at the TV if he says that one more time". I was actually recoiled in my seat with a tense stomach as he continually shouted SHOWBIZZZZZ at the top of his voice. Just awful awful awful.

You'll be surprised to know though, after suggesting I might not watch it, that I *did* watch it tonight. I know, I'm shocked too. But, seriously, tonight was fantastic and after the past fortnight of going "hmm, Eileen's my favourite but she annoys me sometimes", I have a firm favourite in Jade. She was FLAWLESS tonight. The way she was sat upright with her legs crossed sipping on alcohol waiting for Marc to come out the room and just goes, "did someone get a warning, hmm?" was absolutely golden. I'm laughing just thinking about it.

I might start watching it like 20 minutes late, but put it on pause at 9, so I can ff through SHOWBIZ  And Marc tbf, but if I miss him I'll miss queen Jade so maybe not :kink:

I've just finished catching up with a week's worth of episodes over the last two days (and about 16 pages of this thread just now). DRAINED! :drama:

I can't say anything that hasn't been said already about the twist. Yes, the house needed a good shake-up but the all-important game element of the show has been completely ruined with the way the producers went about it. I agree with Rob's post about feeling disappointed to the point that I've considered turning off mid-series for the first time (but will more than likely stick it out -_-)!

Anyway, a best-case scenario eviction for me would have been Sally & Amy, Harriet, Danny and (regrettably) Kieran so it worked out alright I guess. The twins had minimal entertainment value and I found Harriet tiresome with her constant overreactions so I was glad to see them leave, though I did feel sorry for both as it was a very harsh way to be evicted, particularly through the revolving door :/. Kieran's been good-humoured, semi-interesting and is a different sort of housemate so I would have liked to see his character develop but he's no major loss. Danny's fairly one-dimensional and was only ever shown with (or talking about his non-relationship with) Sarah so he would have been a perfect evictee, however he may come into his own now and was particularly good in tonight's episode when defending Chloe.

Sarah is a huge loss for me though :(. I really saw potential housemate greatness in her as it was so refreshing to have a sane, balanced, intelligent person who deals well with conflict/negativity not feel even a little bit 'boring' and, in fact, take on a dominant role in the house, both to housemates and viewers. Re: her argument with Joel, I thought she expressed herself poorly as I felt her point was more about Joel's behaviour directly after Aaron's ejection being strange (which it was - dressing up and walking around the room in a flamboyant way reminiscent of Aaron after the circumstances of his removal struck me as...not very clever and a bit insensitive, especially considering the other housemates were 'mourning' him at the time). Joel was very quick to link what she was saying to 'victim blaming' but I guess it was fair that he may have thought that that's where she was going with it. I don't know, maybe I misinterpreted that conversation but I thought both were in bad moods, had ill-feeling for each other and didn't go about discussing things in the right way so it all escalated very quickly.

Glad Chloe stayed as she's fun and I really love her voice/accent for some reason.

Regarding the new housemates, I can confirm (not that anyone needs any confirmation) that Marc is an utter tool of the highest order, having had the misfortune of seeing him on an episode of Tallafornia. I was more disappointed to watch him enter the house than witnessing Simon's return, which says it all really. I like Sam a lot on first impression but Harry seems like a typical wannabe without much to her so, very much like the entire series at the minute, I don't exactly have high hopes but who knows...

Jade has 3rd place sewn up, right? ;D She's really making it and pretty much carrying the series for me. She's really holding her own and not backing down to anybody. It's not even in a malicious way either! People have been genuinely mis-understanding her and things. I don't think she's "acting" at all btw. If she was then kudos to her for keeping it up for as long as she has been!

Marc is just horrendous. I don't even know what the purpose of his gameplan is? Just to stir shit up and be eliminated in the first week? And the point issssss??? I also hate him for making me like Jack a bit! :( Ugh. He still irritates me, but well done to him for standing up to him. We all know my opinions on Simon by now, they haven't changed. Tonight's episode overall though was brilliant. Exactly what was needed to boost a bit of life into the series, as much as I either detest the newbies or don't have much of an opinion on so far.

How come Marc didn't get a warning from Big Brother after he flashed and clearly offended Jade?

Maybe because it wasn't in her personal space and I think it was more Jade's way of trying to get him removed like Aaron. :kink:

True fair enough. Although I am a bit surprised Marc hasn't got a warning following various comments he made when he said that Chloe had gone to the dairy room for a STI test.

Simon :/ I can't decide which of him and Marc is worse. Nominating Eileen for her age when he's only just younger than her wtf.

Jack's mate starting on me on Twitter lmaoo clearly been stalking me as he said "what I've been tweeting" are things I wouldn't say to his face. I just replied with "no different to him in the house then"

Apparently security has been stepped up in the Big Brother house because "Pieface" e.g. Jack's friends have threatened to rock up the house.

Ratings seem to be improving with the drama from Friday - viewers up to ~1m (a 1.3m peak for the eviction show!) when they'd dipped to 600k-800kish I think! If this keeps up, we might not see the series cut then.
I don't think I can listen to Jack any longer. Insufferable. Pissed off about Eileen being nominated, just after he has been nominated himself? Mmmm. Funny she's was nominated 24 hours ago and he didn't start shouting then. Annoying little twerp. Showbiz is a hypocrite especially using Elieen's age against her and then saying he's 46 he needs sleep etc. Also saying the young ones need the opportunity. Why is he even in there then? And what gives him more right than Eileen?

Yeh he's a joker but Jack was just annoyed because he got nominated - get over it it's part of the show.

That was hilarious when Showbiz started crying and Nick was just laughing!!

I think it says it all when Simon was crying, but without any tears. Awful. And so so hypocritical. "I've got so much more going on for me outside the house". Then why are you here then! Loving Eileen atm.
