Not at all. Brian was wrong. Helen was wrong. She then took it too far. I just don't get the massive wholehearted support for Brian and as I said in a previous post my initial post was written before the "rapist" comments.

I don't think there's "wholehearted support" for Brian. It probably feels that way because people generally LOATHE Helen and can fathom how it is to be living with that rotten piece of garbage. Plus, in comparison, Brian wins people's support by a landslide

:) Fair enough, I'm just saying he played his part over the last week or so. As someone said above, gets us talking huh!

So pleased Aisleyne is going back in, one of my all time faves and I don't think she is one to back down from Helen.

If only this were true but people who you think will definitely be able to go against the most argumentative characters sometimes just get along with them or don't really care. Just look at Katie Price and Michelle with Katie Hopkins, as the most recent example. Beyond disappointing.

Can someone who watched the year Helen won perhaps explain to me ina couple of sentences how that happened? I am at a loss as she is clearly loathed. Was there someone worse?

She was given a final pass on the first night and so her fate in the house was only ever decided on the final night, where of course it's a vote to win. She was the most controversial housemate so she benefited with the vote to win. It was incredibly close between the Top 2 though I think.

OK. Thanks for taking the time to set that out :)

No everyone else had no personality and site themselves around her, you can really see how easily people like Hitler came to power!! (great comparison i know)!!

Ashleigh stood up to helen! And Toya and Matthew but they went far too early. Christopher had a stab at it too, but apart from that she went largely unchallenged because her little crew made up most of the house :drama:

It was the closest final ever in fact, 1% between Ashleigh and Helen :( But bad triumphed over good in the end.

I knew she'd be top 2 but I did still expect Ashleigh to win. Everyone else in the final was quite dull/not winner worthy like Pav, Chris or Ash or in Christopher's case I knew he wouldn't win.

Very interesting interview with Brian on Digital Spy. These bits in particular considering how big a fan he is of the show:

Do you regret going back in the house?

"Do you know what, I don't regret it. I met some great mates in there and also I met Jade in there so that was great. I don't regret it. If anything I think it's a great closure for me. I grew up loving Big Brother and I still do love Big Brother, but for me it's the end of my Big Brother journey in total. So no I don't. I can put that to rest now."

Has your Big Brother memory been tainted by this experience?

"No, it's not been tainted. It's just time for me to put Big Brother to rest in my life really. I did it eight years ago and it's a whole different beast altogether now, so it's time for me to say, 'That was very nice and good but I've got to lead my life in a different direction'."

What is the biggest difference between the Channel 4 years and the Channel 5 years?

"The main difference is face to face nominations. That is the main difference, because obviously we had the secrecy of the Diary Room, so the moment you're allowed to do face to face nominations it's a completely different show. The fact that the housemates seem to know about the outside world and were allowed to talk about the outside world is a major difference.

"Helen should have got called to the Diary Room for calling me a rapist and a murderer straight away. In my year someone called someone another word and they got called to the Diary Room, and someone else got kicked out straight away after making horrible comments to someone, so that's a major difference.

"I've had friends that work on Big Brother and I meet them outside of work, I know how the beast works now. I know how the cogs turn. So at that point I was like, 'This is weird, because I'm not naïve to what goes on in this show'. So I knew the whole machine behind it and I've seen it really."

Are you going to carry on watching this series?

"I'm done now! I'm done. That's it really. But obviously I'll support my friends in the house. I just really want my mates to win."

You've always been such a big fan of the show – will you continue to be a fan, maybe not this series but in the future?

"Well, I've got Big Brother tattooed on my arm! So I've always been a massive fan of Big Brother. I love Big Brother Australia and US. I know it's quite bad but I haven't watched Big Brother UK for two years because of this type of stuff, so I love the Australian Big Brother. I'll always be watching that one."

"I'll always be watching that one" bless, can't be much of a BBAU fan if he seriously expects it back :kink:

Following on from yesterday's episode. Ofcom have received more than 1,000 complaints following from Helen's behaviour and the comments she made to Brian.

I'm guessing with who Brian is referring to in someone getting kicked out straight away for making horrible comments is Emily Parr isn't it?

I wouldn't say Emily made horrible comments, she said the n word to charley but I'd argue that, whilst whites people don't necessarily have the "right" to say it she didn't say it in an argument or anything, I think she was drunk and said it jokingly and Charley barely batted an eyelid. But it was the series after the CBB race row so they really had to be careful.

Of other ejections, most of them came after deliberation from producers or after an isolated event of threat or violence (Dennis spitting at Mohammed or Daley/Hazel in the secret house for example).

1k complaints or 100k complaints. Producers will not care. What a pointless exercise.

How do you think she was able to win her series?

"Obviously she was a high-class prostitute, and Big Brother needs something to keep it in the tabloids, so it was one of those situations where she was getting the most attention. That's where it went really because there's not as many people voting now as there was in the beginning. Brian Dowling got something like 4m people voting. I doubt she got 4m votes to win. It was probably four votes to win."

Bless this shade towards It AND Big Brother :D

Really Think Helen should of been ejected you cant call someone that they look like rapiest, murderer and psycho without proof and who you barely know.

And I love her before that 'I think i'm a Really nice person' then she says all that. :puke:

I'm quitely confident for Jack to be evicted. It'll be very close with him and Harry but I think when we're seeing so much of housemates who aren't even eligible for eviction this week's events won't be so influential and those who've waited weeks to get Jack out will hopefully band together and get him out! Especially as we probably won't get a chance to get him out again for at least a couple of weeks, whereas Harry will probably be nominated until she goes I imagine.

Plus it would actually shake the house up, I love when housemates THEY think are popular get evicted!

Already dying at Aisleyne  Already proving why she truly is a BB legend, easily one of my top 5 housemates ever.

Old school BBLB teas with ASH-A-LEEEN too

"Darling if I'm on the Z-list, you're unclassified" Dying rn
