Can I get some light on why is Hozier at #3?

He is behind Rihanna in BOTH iTunes and Spotify with a decent margin... And has never been ahead of her at any point this week or the previous....

Who cares? Take Me To Church is hundred times better than FourFiveSeconds anyway.

I think zzmyth cares.

Recap:

Singles:

14. Marlon Roudette - When The Beat Drops Out

15. Kelly Clarkson - Heartbeat Song

48. Kygo feat. Conrad - Firestone

58. Iggy Azalea feat. Jennifer Hudson - Trouble

Albums:

11. Taylor Swift - 1989

15. Rebecca Ferguson - Lady Sings The Blues

27. Kelly Clarkson - Piece By Piece

40. Take That - III

I am still yet to see a zzmyth post that isn't directly related to Rihanna.

ALL posts should be directly related to Rihanna.

Kendrick at #1 is the most pleasantly shocking surprise I've seen in chart terms for a long time. I had no idea the UK would take so well to a new era from him, especially so instantly with a release strategy like this.

First week sales in the US should be huge too :D

But e. g. he is No. 5 + 36 + 107 + 113 on amzon, where Rihanna is only No 10.

Might be the same on other dowlnload sites and streaming services and that clearly would be enough to be in front overall.

Is it other single sales collapsing or has Hozier had some high profile exposure somewhere?
Four Five Seconds has done amazingly well. I feel like Rihanna probably has the smallest fanbase of all the big artist but she somehow gets the GP on side time and again.
Nearly 12,000 sales is extremely good going so far for Mark Knopfler. How many copies did his last few albums sell in the whole week? It can't have been any more than that.

Hozier is #1 on Deezer and Rihanna is #4.

Edit: Hozier is also #2 on Google Play and Rihanna is #5

Astonished at Kendrick being #1 in the mids, I thought he'd still not be near popular enough here to pull that off even with the hype around this album :o He obviously won't hold on as he's only a few thousand ahead of Sam but it looks like he has a decent shot at being top 3 if not top 2.

I wouldn't write Kendrick off as his CD hit stores today. Just bought mine. :cheer:

He's also doing amazing on streaming virtually the whole album is in the top 100 on Spotify already.

Edited by Joe.

Is Believe by Mumford & Sons still top 40?

Also really looking forward to seeing streaming sales for Kendricks album - could be decent!
