She sold her album to her close fan base, I hardly see that as an achievement personally.

Considering her debut charted at 138, and her second album only reached 31 despite a ~minor~ hit, FROOT debuting at number 8 with more sales than those two combined is an incredible achievement with no songs sent to radio or any promotion at all and the campaign must've helped somewhat as her 'close fan base' must have grown from somewhere between this era and the last.

Omg #2 yas. Does this mean it it available again :w00t:

Kendrick Lamar's next single is 'King Kunta'. I really hope radio 1 get on board and he gets another top 40 hit with it

131. Kendrick Lamar - King Kunta

It really does fuck me off how Rihanna just releases any old shit and people lap it up. This is ATROCIOUS.

She could just fart into a microphone and people would buy it just because it has her name on it.

Except people didn't exactly lap up 'Towards The Sun' did they? I agree with you about the new song though, it's not very good, and yet there it is at #2. Hopefully it will start falling soon.

Not to be NuVidcapper, but Towards The Sun is sooo much better than BBHMM. Largely because it has a melody.

Is that a pre-order... or instant grat or just a release of a new single on a friday?

Released today.

#70 now

THIS exactly.

Quite like that new Will Young song. I doubt it will do a Jealousy though.

Looking good to hopefully go Top 40 officially by next week!

Rihanna slaying the iTunes chart :w00t:

Why has Iggy had such a huge boost today? :o Not complaining of course!

It's apparently being boosted by some viral video (Tim mentioned it in the song thread). Once airplay kicks in I can see the song getting a top 10 peak with a lengthy-ish run

Will's back!!!!!! Why isn't this a big hit? So soulful and catchy.

Shame sheep buy crap like Jess Glynne and dirty trollopes like Taylor Swift :(

Ah thanks Seven! I really hope it's huge, it's amazing
