I generally support you, but I had no idea what the abbreviation was until I looked it up  Could be claimed it makes the forum a harder read, but its not doing any harm really.

Well in fairness the song in question hasn't been mentioned very often so not everyone would get it  (should've saved it for release )

So happy to see 'Big Girls Cry' as track of the day  It needs to be at least as big as 'Elastic Heart' though i can't see that happening now the video effect has worn off. Hopefully it gets full Radio 1 support and allows 'Fire Meet Gasoline' to also get a release after this dies down.

But hasn't she supposedly got another album ready to go? So I'd be surprised if she releases a 4th single from the current album in favour of moving on to the next one.

I think song abbreviations are fine if they're in context (e.g. if the song in question is being discussed in the current thread), but if you're mentioning it out of nowhere then you should probably use the full title.

Very good point. I did post it only a few posts after the pre-order update but I will take your advice and quote the post next time :D

25. Skrillex & Diplo "Where Are U Now"

26. Mumford & Sons "Snake Eyes"

31. Panic! At the Disco "Hallelujah"

38. Hozier "Someone New"

41. Conor Maynard "Talking About"

Fantastic to see "Where Are U Now" comfortably T40 on iTunes (and now T40 officially as of the Thursday update!) Hopeful that Hozier can score a second hit with "Someone New" too, unlike the follow-ups from Owl City and Gotye, it actually sounds like a hit in my opinion.

#1192 Leona Lewis - Take a Bow

This has appeared due to it being used on a new Japanese app that's going viral on Twitter. Users make cartoon versions of themselves then make them do various activities. One such activity is pole dancing to the tune of this Leona track. All very bizarre.

What's with all the Christina Aguilera song rising up iTunes? Has she died? :D

Candyman #168

Your Body #207

Fighter #270 + #842

Say Something #432

Show Me How You Burlesque #485

Bound To You (WTF?) #987

Or have I banged my head and woken up in 1999? :D

I myself have actually no idea what is a wtwm, I don't have 1000 song titles in my head :P

In all fairness nobody would know what MC is neither, I've seen that too many times, unless you have a lot of time on your hands to look at the list of artists on iTunes. ^_^

 45. Big Girls Cry - Sia

 49. Bitch Better Have My Money - Rihanna

 75. American Oxygen - Rihanna

That's strange? Why would Bradford City release a song when they haven't made it to any cup finals this season?

I see Carly Rae Jepson opening with about 75-80 K (with 20 K pre-orders). Good enough for a #3 debut but nothing more I'm afraid.

Why do you think that it's been top 100 on preorders for a month now it's surely in more demand than that?

A special charity single featuring players and supporters from Bradford City is set to be released this week to help raise funds for the Bradford Burns Unit.

'Never 2 Late' are the band who've recorded the single, 'Everywhere We Go', and it features some stand-out radio commentary from the Bantams' memorable FA Cup run of this season, as well as a number of players.

City's supporters also feature on the single, with the chorus being recorded at last month's Sky Bet League 1 match against Fleetwood Town at Valley Parade.

Fans will be able to hear the song for the first time ahead of their final home game of the season against Barnsley on Saturday, and it's due for full release on Tuesday 28th April, priced at just 99p.

The 30th anniversary of the Valley Parade fire disaster is only a couple of weeks away and funds made from sales of the track will go directly to the Bradford Burns Unit.

Because you only need to sell ~600-800 copies per day to make the Top 50 on iTunes thesedays...

I was being sarcastic somewhat there by the fact that the song has been held back a month too long lol. :P

And as you say the pre order prob sells a lot less that an actual release would.

Ok that makes perfect sense. It's a shame that Bradford didn't make it to the FA Cup final, it would have been a very fitting tribute.

158 Tove Lo Talking Body (KREAM Remix)

Eek, this is climbing pretty fast now, hope it doesn't suck too many sales from the release week in 10 days.

49. Carly Rae Jepsen I Really Like You

I wish this would go to number 1... I'm starting to believe #2 might be possible though.

Edited by Joe.

Well all I can think of from the top of my head is Mariah Carey but I doubt it is that because I haven't heard any news on her music recently  these are all very good points :P
