To me it just proves there's more than enough room for more songs to get playlisted on Radio 1 like the old days. Not the dj's are too concerned with their own egos and just yap constantly.

what's giving Albatraoz the boost now? :o

Do you get wafers with it?

{obscure comedy reference that's probably too old for most people on Buzzjack}

65. Talking Body (KREAM Remix) - Tove Lo

712. Talking Body (Clean Love Edit) - Tove Lo

1101. Talking Body (Gryffin Remix) - Tove Lo

Remixes EP #654 on the album chart

The stations listed there are mostly just clones of each other, and only reach a small portion of the country. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bauer_City_3

Unfortunately it is pretty much all about Capital (well, not completely, but way too much :().

This sort of music has always been more popular in Northern England and Scotland though, so they're reaching the target demographic there. The radio play must have had some effect or else it wouldn't be doing so well.

What makes you say that!? :lol: Never knew different regions of this country had varying taste to that degree.

For what its worth, I've never heard anybody play this Albatraoz song (yet). From what I've heard of it, it sounds absolutely horrendous.

Yep, You can get hammered on all those radio stations but their reach just isn't big enough.

You need at least one of R1/R2/Heart/Capital/Kiss for a song to be a hit really.

Tove Lo just did (Today...) a cover of SYA at LL in Radio 1... It could give it the edge it needs... It's so good :|
