May 7, 201510 yr A Radio 2 premiere is a little bizarre, it doesn't exactly sound like their type of song. Without BGT this probably suffered the same fate as Tulisa's Living Without You.
May 8, 201510 yr Full song premiered on BBC Radio 2 this morning, skip to 2:07:15 in this radio programme to listen! Also available to pre-order on UK iTunes now. I really like the song, but seeing as this is being released on her own independent label I don't have high hopes for its success. It'll probably sneak into the top 40 thanks to her Britain's Got Talent performance but it won't be touching the top 10 or 20 bar a miracle. http://a4.mzstatic.com/eu/r30/Music5/v4/b1/41/bc/b141bc3a-ca34-4b9d-15d3-6dbad37ebd89/cover600x600.jpeg Why would she pick an single cover where it looks like she is squatting down to go to the toilet?
May 9, 201510 yr Really really like the song - Such a shame a big label haven't picked this up. I think her BGT performance will see her zoom up the iTunes chart but will fade quickly, Can see this being a #39 smash at the moment :(
May 9, 201510 yr it sounds as if it was produced on a discounted fisherprice keyboard and almost sung by tulisa clearly not in it for the music / all about the ok column inches
May 9, 201510 yr Really? I think if she were in it for the OK column inches then she'd just have to carry on the way she has been, being a BGT judge is surely enough :P I think if anything, the fact she's going back to music now after so long away, on an independent label, shows that she really is invested in it. I love the song anyway, perfect for the summer, so good to have her back
May 9, 201510 yr Much as I love her, this is really bad. :( Like Jake said, it sounds cheap and that chorus is awful. Even 'Living Without You' was better than this!
May 9, 201510 yr I like this a fair amount for now, but I can't see it lasting in my affection. Sadly not a hit either, I'd be very surprised if it peaked much higher than about #28, if that.
May 9, 201510 yr Cheryl's Only Human flopped hugely (more than this will I'd say) and she's looking set for an X Factor return though :P
May 9, 201510 yr If the song doesn't do well she'll probably be axed from BGT. How did you come to this conclusion, may I ask?
May 9, 201510 yr Looks like she's using The Saturdays' strategy of teaming up with First Choice for the video. BxbAB4x50DQ TFN2JziqSlc
May 9, 201510 yr This song is too much of a bop. This would be the perfect Rochelle 1st single track.
May 9, 201510 yr If the song doesn't do well she'll probably be axed from BGT. If that's the case, why was she even considered the job after "The Entertainer" flopped? Edited May 9, 201510 yr by Dillan
May 9, 201510 yr If that's the case, why was she even considered the job after "The Entertainer" flopped? Because ITV likes to make a habit of stealing BBC talent and massively increasing their pay to make them jump ship :P
May 10, 201510 yr I quite like this but its the worst she's ever done by far. CHEAP. Edited May 10, 201510 yr by JSG
May 10, 201510 yr To be fair got my Top 40 would be a big achievement - I didn't think she would trouble the charts again and her last Top 40 hit was in 2010 collaborating on the #29 'Take Control' smash with Roll Deep. Her last 3 songs have charted at #46, #78 and #53 so any advance on that is a result for her.
May 16, 201510 yr It the UK GP didn't pay attention to Tulisa and Conor when they did this kind of style of music, what makes you think Alesha will be any different?
May 16, 201510 yr This might do a bit better because she's got a BGT perf at least but it's still going to flop pretty badly for someone who's in the public eye as prominently as her. Nobody really said it was going to be a hit :kink:
