A Radio 2 premiere is a little bizarre, it doesn't exactly sound like their type of song. Without BGT this probably suffered the same fate as Tulisa's Living Without You.

Full song premiered on BBC Radio 2 this morning, skip to 2:07:15 in this radio programme to listen!

Also available to pre-order on UK iTunes now. I really like the song, but seeing as this is being released on her own independent label I don't have high hopes for its success. It'll probably sneak into the top 40 thanks to her Britain's Got Talent performance but it won't be touching the top 10 or 20 bar a miracle.

Why would she pick an single cover where it looks like she is squatting down to go to the toilet?

Really really like the song - Such a shame a big label haven't picked this up. I think her BGT performance will see her zoom up the iTunes chart but will fade quickly, Can see this being a #39 smash at the moment :(

it sounds as if it was produced on a discounted fisherprice keyboard and almost sung by tulisa

clearly not in it for the music / all about the ok column inches

Really? I think if she were in it for the OK column inches then she'd just have to carry on the way she has been, being a BGT judge is surely enough :P I think if anything, the fact she's going back to music now after so long away, on an independent label, shows that she really is invested in it.

I love the song anyway, perfect for the summer, so good to have her back

no, she never does brush up

she reminds me of amanda holden too actually

I like this a fair amount for now, but I can't see it lasting in my affection. Sadly not a hit either, I'd be very surprised if it peaked much higher than about #28, if that.
Cheryl's Only Human flopped hugely (more than this will I'd say) and she's looking set for an X Factor return though :P

Looks like she's using The Saturdays' strategy of teaming up with First Choice for the video.

This song is too much of a bop. This would be the perfect Rochelle 1st single track.
If the song doesn't do well she'll probably be axed from BGT.

If that's the case, why was she even considered the job after "The Entertainer" flopped?

Because ITV likes to make a habit of stealing BBC talent and massively increasing their pay to make them jump ship :P

I quite like this but its the worst she's ever done by far. CHEAP.

To be fair got my Top 40 would be a big achievement - I didn't think she would trouble the charts again and her last Top 40 hit was in 2010 collaborating on the #29 'Take Control' smash with Roll Deep.

Her last 3 songs have charted at #46, #78 and #53 so any advance on that is a result for her.

It the UK GP didn't pay attention to Tulisa and Conor when they did this kind of style of music, what makes you think Alesha will be any different?
This might do a bit better because she's got a BGT perf at least but it's still going to flop pretty badly for someone who's in the public eye as prominently as her. Nobody really said it was going to be a hit :kink:
