I guess mainstream music isn't interesting me much at the moment and I'm being a flop fan not listening to other recent new releases oop. However, the #1 isn't a BJSC song, rather it is Major Lazer claiming their first official week at #1 for me, though it would be their third if I could be arsed to make charts for the 2 missing weeks. Elsewhere in the top 10, Kendrick Lamar falls just short of a fourth #1 but could still get there in coming weeks, hip-hop newcomer Fetty Wap lands at #8 and Justin Bieber scrapes his way into the inaugural Bré Approves 40 top 10. Off to a credible start then.

Sage The Gemini and Lookas) [38-40-x] ~ So in the last 2 weeks I have had the RARITY of a BJSC song that's not my own hitting #1 (only happened before once with Mr.Kitty's 'Destroy Me') and now the UNIQUENESS of a Eurovision song hitting #1 (the highest one has previously got is #7 for Carl Espen's 'Silent Storm'). The lack of any mainstream music that is massively interesting me has contributed to this but 'JAY Z' and 'Love Injected' are both incred and well deserving #1s nonetheless. This week 'Bad Blood' becomes a top 10 hit for a second time - the album version made the top 10 on cherrypicks alone back when I first listened to her album, see I was stanning the song before it was cool to! - and this time gives Kendrick yet another top 10 on my chart, I can't be arsed to count how many he has but it's QUITE A FEW by this stage. Other highlights are thin on the ground. Fetty Wap enters the top 5 and a EUROVISION DNQ has entered, something I never thought would happen in my chart.

'Love Injected' a fabulous number one also, stretching your limited females that have hit number one list, bet you never thought Eurovision would be the reason for that :lol: It was rather iconic to see 'Important' there even if only briefly, what a life-affirming anthem. Rather hooked on 'Dope a La Mode' (NOT because of the vid I swear x altho that is rather cool in itself) so yay, huuuuge tune. 'Time' still holding up :wub: loads of other BJSC goodness in there also. And finally... It's his third #1 in a row after 'i' and 'The Blacker The Berry' and his fourth in total having previously got there with 'Backseat Freestyle'. Meanwhile he also climbs up to #3 featuring on 'Bad Blood', which I believe is now Taylor Swift's fourth top 3 hit in my chart, what a turnaround :o In between the two Kingdrick songs Fetty Wap climbs to #2 with 'Trap Queen'. The highest new entry is at #4 for Disclosure as I was fashionably late to actually hearing 'Bang That' (and you may notice the same is true for 'Holding On' which I still haven't heard yet OOPS. 'Bang That' is a big tune tho). Last week's #1 from Aminata drops to #5 in the post-Eurovision slump. Elsewhere David Guetta & co. shoot up to #6, Tove Lo clips back into the top 10, Fifth Harmony return to the chart at a new peak of #14 (counting as a new entry again due to the new era of my charts ~), [redacted] in the top 20 and there are more new entries from DENA's new song (featuring DRAKE), Avicii who is actually making good songs again, The Prodigy DJ S.K.T, Loreen (!) and Major Lazer plus mega late new entries for Natalie La Rose and Galantis whose songs just missed out on points from me in their respective BJSCs but now make my chart due to me being a cheap hoe.
