It was 5 :) (I've been tracking the songs/album a lot today). Fantastic to see 1989 back at #1 and bad blood already slaying without the remix :heart:

 

Hopefully the remix will get added soon. When do people think it'll be added?

 

So great to see it doing so well for a 4th single even without the remix - Think this is going to be huge especially as most of her fanbase haven't downloaded the track due to having it on the album and waiting for the remix, Also brilliant to see the album getting such a boost already :wub:

Just coz people hate Lady GaGa doesn't mean she isn't really good at singing. You may not like her music but you can't deny she is very talented

A few years ago I thought Kendrick was going to do a song with Lady Gaga (:puke: :puke:), and nothing will ever be as scary as the thought of that!

And a 70 year old lady has mostly 60-70-80 year old friends and they don't like Lady Gaga either, in fact they don't even know about her. That doesn't determine a country's or the world's taste :P

I think Gaga's recent Oscar performance (is that what you posted kath, videos arent showing up on my ipad?) just shows how much talent she has even if you doubted her before (and she's always been perfect IMO). Her vocals are amazing and she sings the tracks so perfectly :heart:

 

Also so happy with bad blood- Kendrick elevates it even more and it's probably already my favourite song of 2015 :wub: to 15 now as well :cheer:

That statement has literally no basis in fact though. Which part of her technically fantastic voice and obvious gift for songwriting indicates a lack of talent? Also, show me which other current female pop star could sell a million copies of a jazz duets album with Tony Bennett, tour it live and win a Grammy for it. The fact that she could even be considered as being more image over talent than the likes of Katy Perry is absolutely beyond me. Like her music or not (and I accept it certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea) the level of talent is glaringly obvious.

 

And that Oscars performance is perfection. The vocal is stunning.

I think Lady Gaga is a pretty formidable talent with an extremely good voice and she's a phenomenal live performer.

 

I really badly want her to pull it out of the bag for her next era. I know she can, I just don't know if she will. :(

The original version was my least fave on the album but the remix is STUNNING.

SNAP. I'm actually BAFFLED at how much I am liking this after disliking the original so much. Just goes to show how the right feature and a production switch-up can do so much for a song. I'm all for this remix smashing. :wub:

You'd think that record labels would have learned from that situation Omi found himself in recently where the success of a cover version forced them to release the track earlier than intended, although I guess you can argue Omi didn't exactly pay for the mistake... It's still lost sales no matter which way you look at it I suppose!

 

If Taylor didn't have her problems with Spotify I'd imagine Bad Blood could have been a contender for this week or next weeks top three, even without streaming I can still see it possibly cracking the top ten this week regardless.
