I am not getting why wait if you are still going to buy it when it comes out.
Because we're old fashioned. There's nothing like the feeling of getting the CD, having the product in your hand, putting it in your CD player and listening to it for the first time. :P I don't do it for anyone else, really. It's just that I've done that with Britney albums for as long as I can remember and to me, it feels sorta like tradition and the feeling that I get when I do hear it for the first time is sensationaaaal. :P

"CD player" dear GOD Jonjo, you're making yourself sound so old
I haven't listened to the album yet - just feels wrong. But after reading all the reviews, the wait is killing me. I can't wait. I will wait! I am so happy she has evidently released an album worth listening to again and I don't have to pretend I like it. If make me really isn't one of the best songs on the album like lots of people are saying then I am going to love this album because to me make me is a great song. 4 more days...

Make Me is still within the best on the album for sure for me, I guess people are a bit used to it.

Right now I'm ranking it her 6th best album, after "Britney" and before "Femme Fatale".

Make Me is still the best thing on the album, a bit disappointed there's nothing quite like it on the album. Still a solid body of work. The last 2 songs on the regular album should've been replaced though. Private Show and Clumsy are still weak spots.

It's about 4th for me I think.

5 tracks in and I'm very impressed so far.

I don't even call myself a Britney fan but this is so doing it for me up until now, hopefully the quality continues.

'Just Luv Me' might be one of her best ever.

Not going to lie, I might have to give it a full listen once it hits iTunes on midnight on Friday, as I'm sure I'll be hyped AF after carpool karaoke! But, even then I will wait if i can find a store that will have it stocked by midnight :D

I've waited 5 years for another great album, what's 4 more days?

:yahoo:

Why hasn't Brit always been this good?

This is such great pop music. I'm so surprised she has pulled this out of the bag. Already my favourite Britney album.

Davidson :o

You're killing me! I'm officially more hyped for this than I was for 'Circus'! People keep saying 'Liar' sounds like the 'Britney' album, modernized. shaking.

SAME. :kink:

Actually this is my first time holding off in quite a few album releases but I have a long boring car ride ahead and what's a few more days of waiting?

I love that you guys have the strength to not listen.. I caved at the first second!

I'm sure Britney's not pressed that lots of fans have already heard the album, though.

She f***ing hates waiting after all  She gets it!

Especially when we have NO idea how long we will be waiting to listen to a full length album from our fave again. Especially one that both critics and fans are saying is one of the best in her discography! The closest I see us getting B10 is 2019, since that will mark 20 years since her debut album. But, I'm pretty sure we will be waiting another 2 years at the very least.

Yeah, I don't think Britney is one of those artists to be enraged by a leak. I think her only concern is her fans loving it. I don't even think Britney is concerned with charts either, it seems only her label + us are the ones concerned about commercial success.

It really is kind of scary how close we're getting to 'Baby' being 20 years ago! ;o (Just seeing this written down made me feel a bit :drama: ~).

This album is fantastic, and makes Britney Jean sound so amateurish. Her vocals are so varied and classic Britney while the production is completely on point.

Do You Wanna Come Over might be my favourite Britney song since Till The World Ends, absolutely brilliant. It sounds like an odd comparison but the bridge reminds me of a better version of the bridge in When I Lost You by Sarah Whatmore. Man On The Moon, Just Like Me and Better are my other favourites on first listen. Make Me is growing a lot but it's not one of my favourite Britney leads.

This is so much stronger than any of her albums since 'Blackout' it's unreal. The production throughout is so current without sounding like she's chasing trends, something which the last few albums have definitely suffered from. I can easily see it being my second favourite after 'Blackout'.

Top 5 after the first listen:

01 Just Luv Me I knew from the clip that I'd absolutely adore this. So sensual and chilled. My favourite Britney songs since I don't even know when :')

02 Slumber Party Absolutely LOVE the vibe of this.

03 Better Tropical house Britney is a wonderful thing.

04 Man on the Moon

05 If I'm Dancing The production on this is irresistible.

'Invitation', 'Do You Wanna Come Over?', 'Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes)', 'Liar' and 'Coupure Électrique' are up there too.

Definitely getting Selena Gomez 'Revival' vibes from a lot of this, which is a very good thing to these ears.
