Her instant grats have been doing decently over ere in the UK, too! Very pleased with their performances so far.

Currently #44 in the UK! Both 'Clumsy' and 'Do You Wanna Come Over?' have been really close to making the top 40, so far! It's also benefitting 'Make Me' slightly as it's up to #134!

#209 for 'Clumsy'

#433 for 'Private Show'

I'm going to sound a bit dumb here but I'm old and haven't quite caught up with the streaming era - I still download music so please indulge me. I still don't understand how streaming works with albums. In release week, would someone need to stream the WHOLE album on say Spotify or an equivalent so many times (how many times is this?) for it to count as a sale. Or is it the amount of tracks played on an album which are added up - so say someone could play three tracks off the album, someone else five tracks and they add up collectively? Or would those plays go towards the single count? I know this message is confusing so would someone explain how it works for album sales? Thanks in advance!
I don't know how it works in the US, but here in the UK they average out the plays for each track on the album and devide by 100 (or 1000?) after they down weigh the top two songs.
I WANT to love all of it but nothing except Make Me has really hit me so far. :( Hopefully the other songs will grow!

omfg Do You Wanna Come Over? though

The way album chart streaming in the UK works is like this:

- Tallies taken for all songs on an album.

- The top 2 most streamed songs' totals are weighted down to the average of the other songs.

- All totals are added and divided by 1000. Someone like Britney could probably get about 1k extra in stream sales I think.

Therefore it might be best not to have it available to stream for the first few weeks, forcing people to buy it like Adele?

Yessssssssss dance bitch! :D

I don't think it would actually make any difference! The 1k stream sales will probably be more valuable than no stream sales and maybe like 100 extra sales at most.

Streaming doesn't effect the album chart that much. It won't be a deciding factor for Britney either way. But it'll help Make Me climb a little bit hopefully.

So glad to see your loving some new Britney! This song has had the best mom fan reaction to one of her singles since 'I Wanna Go'. Paired with a GOOD (aka not make me) and I really think it could be a decent hit for her!

Okay thanks all. I guess steaming albums is not having as big an impact on sales as with singles sales. I'm gonna have to give in a get a Spotify account so I can stream as well. Do you wanna come over is 47 on uk itunes atm. If this isn't the second single then I have high hopes for the quality of the next single.

Yeah the impact is minimal cause it's rare that anyone has more than 1 or 2 songs doing well in the chart, and those streams get rounded down so basically don't count  (to stop, for example, Mark Ronson's album being boosted solely by Uptown Funk when no-one actually cares to buy it or hear the other songs). The huge numbers come from the likes of Justin Bieber and Drake who have a few songs doing well concurrently!

After the chanting threw me off on my first listen or two, I'm really beginning to get into this and believe it would do well as a single! It's absolutely brilliant and I am SO pumped at how natural and as Umi said, genuine, this all seems to be.

Just came in here to say exactly this! I'd still rather Britney at least sang with the guy chanting but I can overlook it and I've ended up playing it on repeat like I did 'Clumsy'. Definitely has a strong single quality about it and I'd say it was quite likely now that, I think, 'Do You Wanna Come Over?' has been added to her Vegas set-list.

This album is going to be so good!! I don't think I even got this hyped for Madonna's last album!

Omg for some reason I thought the instant grat was coming tomorrow! Listening now!

What do you think??

This is the most hyped I've been for an album since 'Circus'! It's the return of the Britney sound we fell in love with, modernized! I basically look at this as her first album since 'Femme Fatale'. 'Britney Jean' is not even an "album", it's a rushed mess that is mostly not even her vocals. 'Work Bitch', 'Perfume', 'Alien', 'Til It's Gone', 'Brightest Morning Star', 'Hold On Tight' (and I guess since y'all adore it so much) and 'Now That I Found You', should have been the 6-7 track EP released. Would have been enough to tide fans over and not create a total shit stain on her immaculate list of albums. And I know a lot of you guys like 'Passenger' but she is literally sung over by Myah Marie the entire first verse and chorus, and Britney doesn't even sing the second verse. DELETE IT FAT.

This album is shaping up to be her best since 'Blackout' when it comes to the music shining because of BRITNEY, not just because the production is fire. The coy playfulness in her vocals that made her an icon in the first place are finally back after being called in for almost a decade.

Rank:

Make Me: 10/10 (Went off on this slightly for a second after that video, but this jam is undeniable)

Private Show: 9.5/10 (This is still insanely eccentric, it's the 'How I Roll' of this album.)

Clumsy: 9/10 (Effortlessly boppable)

Do You Wanna Come Over?: 11/10 (I haven't freaked out about a Britney song on this level since 'Gimme More'. Her classic style modernized. f***ing wonderful. I'm sorry for doubting you, Holy Spearit http://i1373.photobucket.com/albums/ag361/tylaaah1/87CE2D28-9EDB-4891-B381-601581B5995A_zpsfhalrkes.gif )

Loved it on first listen! Pretty sure I'll be obsessed on it after a few more listens!

At the moment:

1. Make Me

2. Clumsy

3. Do You Wanna Come Over

4. Private Show

Though DYWCO will probably overtake Clumsy very soon!

Also, I really really really really really really like the male vocals in the chorus! I think it works so well! It adds to the song like Danja's parts did in 'Get Naked (I Got A Plan)'. Nothing like 'Focus' because Britney is still very present in the chorus. The male voice adds a nice layer to her confident talk/singing in the chorus and her chanting the title in the background.
