Wow! #2 is QUITE the recovery from #32, particularly for a pop act nearly 20 years into their career, highly impressed at that!

I've yet to listen to the deluxe tracks (aside 'If I'm Dancing' which is such a bop!!) but I already can't stress enough how great this album is. I thought after the hype of new Britney music had died down and the album had time to settle, some songs wouldn't feel as great as they originally did, but that's not the case at all. I feel bad putting 'Invitation' as far down as #7 but that top 6 is just undeniable and I'd love them all to be singles, not just because I love them that much but because I think they would actually all work perfectly as singles.

I'm so pleased Britney managed to hold on to #2 in the UK charts. Sure, the sales aren't as great as hoped, given they are lower than those of Britney Jean and only passed 10k thanks to streaming, but seeing her that high in the charts is just wonderful. I fully expect it to drop out of the Top 10 this week but I hope it can have a couple more weeks in the Top 40 after that.

Okay so the deluxe is also fantastic. Absolutely loving 'Liar' and 'Change Your Mind' sounds so so good too!

Yes, it's a recovery in terms of chart position but glory actually sold less than Britney Jean achieved in the first week, so I don't think it's anything impressive and bit of a misleading picture.

Not really... she got pretty close to topping it with an August release date, so if it was in a similar market to when BJ was released, wouldn't it suggest that the sales could have been more than what BJ achieved in the Q4 period?
I agree - Glory is doing much better. It's been released 3 years later and album sales have been steadily declining the last three years and Glory has also been released in August compared to December when sales are bigger. Glory is doing just fine for the market it's been released in right now.

There's no denying that this has already been a much bigger success than 'Britney Jean'...commercially, critically, and in pretty much every other way haha.

01 Just Luv Me

02 Slumber Party

03 Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes)

04 Invitation

05 Better

06 If I'm Dancing

07 Do You Wanna Come Over?

08 Liar

09 Make Me...

10 Love Me Down

11 Man on the Down

12 Coupure Electrique

13 Hard to Forget Ya

14 Just Like Me

15 What You Need

16 Private Show

17 Clumsy

If the album was just that top 12 it would be a serious rival for 'Blackout's crown.

01(01). 'Liar'

02(02). 'Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes)'

03(08). 'Slumber Party'

04(04). 'Make Me'

05(03). 'Do You Wanna Come Over?'

06(09). 'What You Need'

07(07). 'Love Me Down'

08(10). 'If I'm Dancing'

09(06). 'Invitation'

10(11). 'Clumsy'

11(05). 'Just Luv Me'

12(13). 'Man On The Moon'

13(12). 'Hard To Forget Ya'

14(14). 'Private Show'

15(16). 'Better'

16(15). 'Coupure Électrique'

17(17). 'Just Like Me'

A minor changes in bottom of the list, however, Just Luv Me lost 6 spots and it's out from top 10 (#11) and got replaced with Clumsy(#10).

Biggest climbers are Slumber Party (from #8 to #3) and What You Need (from #9 to #6)...Top 2 remains untouchable

After seeing it in Vegas DYWCO has climbed to be my favourite album track I think. However, I still don't think it'd work as a single, especially as single 2, as I can't see it being loved beyond us pop fanatics. I feel like Slumber Party and Just Luv Me have the most chance of connecting with a wider audience. (As long as the girls from the Make Me video don't return for a very literal 'Slumber Party' video.
Down to #34 in the UK midweeks.

Gahh. I am so happy it made it to #2 but was hoping for more longevity.

I was with some mates yesterday and they were discussing Britney (mostly very fondly) saying she's doing so much to make a big comeback. They weren't really impressed with the VMA dancing after we watched it together but on the whole they were positive about her I think ~
