Netherlands whined but at least they didn't quit. A good Czech Republic entry DNQing doesn't mean there's no room for them in the contest, it doesn't for anyone.

they didn't but ESC is (extremely) popular in the Netherlands, whereas here it's very unpopular and seen as a farce.

So it's Latvia vs Israel for 2nd half~

Literally only one proper uptempo in the 2nd half lmao. GO GEORGIA <3 1st half is so much more upbeat in comparison!

LMAO Aminata drew 2nd too.

That Latvian BITCH drawing 2nd half. Its Saade all over again :(

God I'm gonna need several VODKA AND ORANGES to get through that 2nd half. Only uptempo is Georgia (and Germany at a push but meh)

Can't even begin to be sorry for the organisers. That tragically slow 2nd half ha
Looks like they're going to have divide it between ones that are slow all the way through and ones that pick up towards the end. I don't envy them with that draw, that'll be a lot to get through.
This is why I wish they'd just draw the hosts at random and then create the best possible show around that. Can see viewing figures going down as a result because I assume many casual viewers will switch off after about song 19/20 from sheer BOREDOM

On a positive side Georgia is going to stand out so well :D But now it's highly unlikely they will put her last :(

Oh I don't imagine it'll be that bad, a lot of people will be just quite drunk by then, and will have had what laughable moments they can get out of the first half. If it was the other way around, sure.

But once you've made it to the second half you'll be quite invested in the show, all the songs are short and a lot of the ballads do have enough dramatic moments to keep SOME interest.

when will they announce the running order? I hate this 1st and 2nd half thing :/

Seeing the dress rehearsals are tomorrow, I suppose over the night or tomorrow morning.

Time for some DREAM LINE UPS (though I'm not sure what you could really DO with that basic bitch ballad-tastic second half)

FIRST HALF

Belgium: Loïc Nottet - Rhythm Inside

Cyprus: John Karayiannis - One Thing I Should Have Done

Norway: Mørland & Scarlett - A Monster Like Me

Serbia: Bojana Stamenov - Beauty Never Lies

SECOND HALF

Austria: The Makemakes - I Am Yours

Israel to open and Spain to close thanks *.*

Spain would be an absolutely WONDERFUL closer. And one that could actually do quite well from closing, I imagine.
Russia as a closer could see them threaten Mans maybe. Only maybe, same goes for Azerbaijan actually. I'm still expecting Mans to get a decent draw in the first half and walk this though.

This is about as GOOD I CAN DO with that second half
