And in the top 3 we go and the first video to fall is 'All Fired Up'. The second single from the girls 3rd full length studio album, 'On Your Radar'. Now, it's a good video and does the job of selling the song decently, but how is this video rated and ranked so high? It's ultimately a bit of a bore. They have FAR superior videos that failed to make it and no way is it the 3rd best video from this list? I'm so baffled as to what makes it such a huge favourite when other similar videos have failed? I don't think it's a good "choreography heavy" sort of video either. The editing is too choppy and we don't really see too much of the choreography! But eh, whatevs.

There we have it! 'Ego' manages to defeat 'Notorious' in Buzzjack's Fave Groups Video Rate! I'll get back to 'Ego' very shortly...

 

But first, just gonna do a little bit about the runner up! 'Notorious' manages to place second place in this rate and ahead of some very good videos, but what sets it apart from every other video in the countdown? I think it's down to the video actually lending itself to the song very, very well! It's full of sass, attitude and a completely different side to The Sats like we've never seen (or even heard!) before and it all goes hand in hand, perfectly. Down to every attention to detail. The choreography. The style. The cinematography. The moving up and getting changed in a lift to the club straight after "work". It's gone on to be one of their most notorious and most daring efforts all round! A great video and a very deserved runner up!

 

And from there we move onto the WINNER. 'Ego' is not only one of the best pop songs of the noughties, but it's definitely my favourite Sats video and a deserving winner (not my first choice, but I'm not against this winning either!). In this video it sees the girls dressed as superheroes and all of them plan to take down the guy (villain) who is taking all the credit and press attention as he receives a huge ego boost. It's a great pop video and although I would have liked a dance routine at some point, it was executed very well on the whole.

Quite a good winner, it's certainly one of The Sats' best videos! 'Notorious' is fun but I'd have been less happy about that winning.

una's boobs is enough to make 'Ego' be their best video.

Thanks for hosting Jonjo! 'Ego' is a superb video so I can't argue at that winner. On the whole The Sats' videography is very strong so not a total surprise to see them dominate the top 3.
