Such a tame header to concede. Mertesacker has had a good game though, keeping Benteke quiet in particular.

Arsenal dominated that game right from the start, Aston Villa didn't have a shot at target throughout that game. Sanchez scored a cracker of a goal and Giroud got on the score card at the end of the game as he did last year, fantastic game to watch, against a team that didn't really show up.

Killer performance from us. It's a good day to be a gooner.

Villa were awful. Seriously hope we don't buy Benteke as he is not what we need.

Well done Arsenal, thoroughly deserved. That Sanchez goal was one of the best I have seen.

If Villa had played their best then it would have been a good game but Arsenal look a class above. Next season will be very interesting, particularly if Jose has a serious go at the CL.

Looks like one Aston Villa fan was a bit too confident in his team's chances :lol:
