I can't understand how people would think Break Free is her worst single. It was my EOY #1 for 2014.

The thing is '4, 5 Seconds', 'Baby Don't Lie' and 'Focus' would be on their albums if they had been the #1 hits they were projected to be. (or in Gwen's case... a top 10)

It's very blah. I have yet to hear a song produced by Zedd that doesn't sound flat and isn't awful.

 

The other 5 songs are all great.

Her top 3 are miles ahead of the rest - Dangerous Woman in time could become as good as them. Focus remains awful.

The thing is '4, 5 Seconds', 'Baby Don't Lie' and 'Focus' would be on their albums if they had been the #1 hits they were projected to be. (or in Gwen's case... a top 10)

"Used To Love You" didn't make the top 50 anywhere (let alone top 10) and that still made her album.

I LOVE it. I just love the others more! She such a strong singles act for me. Her albums are great but her singles have been on point for me! (It also swaps places with 'Problem' quite a bit lately!)

I've grown to adore her but a lot of her material doesn't live up to her talents. Her best tracks to me are

2. One Last Time

3. All My Love (Remix) (with Major Lazer & Machel Montano)

4. Love Me Harder

5. Dangerous Woman

6. Break Free

7. What Do You Mean (Remix) [her added vocals elevate the song so much]

8. Focus

9. Problem

10. The Way

 

Those are all 8/10, or higher, moments for me and the ones where she really shines. Tracks like Just a Little Bit Of Your Heart are great and she sings them brilliantly but they are so beneath her.

Never got the hype with those bottom two at all, Problem is annoying and OLT is just not very interesting. DW is fantastic and definitely one of her better tracks, sad to see it dropping on iTunes already.

Not a fan of this at all, it just plods along. Focus >>>>>
