Man Utd got torn a new one. They're so controlled in possession, but it doesn't matter how bad you play, they will always give away chances.

The first half for Man Utd was awful, I felt like I was watching Liverpool! Look like they really miss Shaw.

I read something the other day saying they should bring in Ashley Cole on a short term deal. After today, you can see it.

Just one of those games! Lost it within 10 minutes, lucky it didn't end up like the 8-2 match a couple of seasons back where it was us who started like that.

Very interesting league this year. Anyone can beat anyone & no single team is dominating.

I'll admit that Arsenal deserved to win that match but it will ultimately add up to the same old same old of 3rd or 4th in the league. I won't be surprised if they drop points to Watford in the next match.
Interesting to see Chelsea 5th from bottom... ouch... with Bournemouth above them  A great win for Arsenal though if only they could do better in the Champions league, Man Utd just lost the plot.

Chelsea will still finish top 4

keep the faith martin.

2 managers gone in the same day! Maybe Sam Allardyce will become Sunderland's new manager as well.

Absolutely crying at the last tweet by brendanrogersokay.

I'm DELIGHTED.

Must say I'm pretty shocked Brendan has gone. Thought today was the best we've played.

Gonna be a conspiracy theorist here and say the sacking has more to do with the fact we know who we want, and Chelsea might also be managerless very shortly.

Problem for Brendan really is we recruited for 4-3-3 and we look awful playing it no matter how much he tries.

I think if it was someone other than Mourinho in charge at Chelsea now then Roman Ambromovich would have sacked the manager by now.

Liverpool Football Club has announced that Brendan Rodgers will leave his post with immediate effect after having his contract terminated. The process to appoint a new manager is underway.

The Northern Irishman joined Liverpool FC in June 2012 and helped the club mount a memorable title challenge in his second season, as well as helping to develop many exciting young players. LFC's ownership have paid tribute and thanked Rodgers for his contribution.

In a joint Fenway Sports Group statement, Principal Owner John W Henry, Chairman Tom Werner and President Mike Gordon said:

“We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Brendan Rodgers for the significant contribution he has made to the club and express our gratitude for his hard work and commitment.

“All of us have experienced some wonderful moments with Brendan as manager and we are confident he will enjoy a long career in the game.

“Although this has been a difficult decision, we believe it provides us with the best opportunity for success on the pitch. Ambition and winning are at the heart of what we want to bring to Liverpool and we believe this change gives us the best opportunity to deliver it.

“The search for a new manager is underway and we hope to make an appointment in a decisive and timely manner.”

Would Klopp really want to join Liverpool?

Would Klopp really want to join Liverpool?

I think he would. Big project for him which I'm sure he would be interested in. Think it comes down to how much time he wants to take out of the game.
