Posted June 21, 201510 yr sort of been obsessing over the trailer for this for a couple of weeks now. i think it looks really good and it has Sheridan Smith in it. (who in my opinion, is a great actress)
June 21, 201510 yr I love Sheridan Smith but I missed her recent drama, 'The C Word'. :( I've only read the synopsis of this, that it's the wife of a murdered undercover policeman looking to find her killer, but I'm sure it will be good.
June 21, 201510 yr I love Sheridan Smith but I missed her recent drama, 'The C Word'. :( If you get the chance to catch-up, if it's somewhere on YouTube or something, definitely do watch! I'll be watching this tonight. Good to finally have something worth watching on a Sunday night.
June 21, 201510 yr Really enjoyed this! Sheridan was amazing, obviously. The music was very Broadchurch
June 21, 201510 yr I enjoyed it too. I think it would have been better had it been by the BBC as they're always much more grittier and I feel ITV like to jump big time frames which stops the drama from flowing well. I also thought they could have made grieving scenes more poignant. But nevertheless I liked it and will be watching again.
June 30, 201510 yr LOVED the first episode, the second episode stalled a bit really, but that reveal at the end. :o Really excited to see how this is going to end now. Have never really enjoyed watching Sheridan Smith in anything before, but she's impressed me here.
July 1, 201510 yr I thought the second episode was better - I felt much more gripped. Still none the wiser as to what the conclusion could be; I just hope they actually give us full answers!
July 4, 201510 yr Just watched the first two episodes ad enjoyed them. Nothing exactly new to be seen, especially with the old 'mysterious man arrives at the funeral' but intriguing nonetheless!
July 6, 201510 yr Was anyone a bit disappointed with that ending? Seemed like the last 15 minutes was so rushed. Kudos to them for keeping us guessing all the way throughout - I did consider the female boss [/tulisa] and the boyfriend before they were put in the firing line but kept changing my mind - but I felt the reasoning for why the culprit (can't remember his name or specific job) killed the three people was a bit weak and slightly damaged the suspense and mystery that was building nicely throughout the episodes. That aside, a very enjoyable watch! Bring on the next Sheridan Smith drama!
July 8, 201510 yr I agree that the reasoning was perhaps slightly off but I very much enjoyed how the final episode kept us guessing throughout, making us believe the killer had been found before it turned into a different direction again. It still felt a bit cliche in places, and the 'let's speak about this somewhere else' line was used twice but it was still a very enjoyable series!
