Sonia is insufferable. Can't believe she was brought back (and Martin as well) and we still have the likes of Dean on the Square while Cindy, Lola and Carol have left/ are leaving :(.

I see Martin had his arm in a sling throughout that episode, guessing he had an accident prior to filming todays' scenes.
I hear the actor stabbed his hand by accident. probably using it when reading the scripts saying he had more scenes with Sonia and he slipped with the knife in utter shock at his misfortune.

I think T Boy's guess is reet.

Rememberin Sonia helping Kim give birth through a tiny dress and asking the operator hysterically 'which siiiide?' to place Kim on even though, as a nurse, she should Have been well aware of which side n What to do?

I was a fan of Sonia in her younger years but she wasnt needed to make a return, and the recasting Martin is now showing as pointless. I have read a few other negative points on EastEnders from other sites and one of this points i agree with is the dragging out of storylines. The Who Killed Lucy and the waiting for Dean's lies to be exposed are going on far too long and people are losing interest. and will have no interest when/if the conclusion comes.

One of my pet hates at the moment is Ronnie, Samantha is an excellent and well capable actress but Ronnie is now so miserable and ridiculously overprotective /pyscho of Roxy its irritating, they need to change the character, make her happy and not this constant ridiculous thing of wanting to have people killed and having a face of pure an utter misery.

Jane is delivering excellent scenes for weeks now and is truly showing her high acting abilities.

Lauren Branning is returning for a few episodes during Max's trial. Will she reveal Bobby is the killer?

Shabnam>>>>>>>>>>everything. So shit they're going to torture her.

Fatima: who are these people?

Stacey: get your head thing on.

I'm guessing the producers knew about the Emmerdale clash in advance because the quality certainly showed that. The scenes in the Masood living room were very Lorraine Newman-esque attempts of humour.
There is still a huge Zainab hole in the story. There is no way, family wedding and grandchild on the way along with the reveal of another grandchild, Zainab wouldn't be on the first plane back.

Yup, that's exactly what I thought while I was watching Shab + co the other night. It's kinda awkward :/

Well that was a whole load of filler until the end. Kush chasing Masood was way too cringe and OTT giving me the Vic fight of 2012 vibes.

And the GALL of Sonia to comment on Tina interfering in people's lives :/

Where is Zainab suppose to be?

Back in Pakistan I think.

There are all these people in soap who just get a plane whenever they want and swan off to Australia, but zainab can't come back from Pakistan when her daughter is pregnant and getting married? Maybe Nina wadia doesn't want to come back yet but they could persuade for a guest appearance surely. I agree that it's very out of character, you can just imagine zainab booking a last minute flight online the second she heard Shabnam was pregnant, let alone getting married!

That was very emotional, great acting from Shabnam
Rakhee Thakrar is f***ing sensational. I had tears as it was but I was GONE when she was sat outside on the bench talking to the baby :(

She's definitely completely reinvented Shabnam. Who'd have thought just 2 years ago that we'd have Shabnam Masood back with big storylines.

I'm still pissed off with this development but then she's playing it so well. Shabnam as a mother of a young baby would have been hilarious rather than just having Stacey do it all over again.
