Suffice to say, GOOD EPISODE GUYS. Very emotional and certainly a tear-jerker. So unexpectedly good - I knew this storyline was coming but didn't think it would be pulled off anywhere near as well as it has been so far. The whole cast are doing extraordinary work - special mention to Bonnie Langford, who is SHINING.

Very emotional, the waterworks came running, it must have been so hard for the actors to act with a dummy though. Kush at the end was brilliant when he was on his own. The scene really touched me.

Do you think they should have used an actual dead baby?

Also, I know it was awful, but Zainab telling Tam they could have an actual Proper wedding did make me laugh. Its exactly the kind of thing she would say.

Rakhee and Davood to win all awards please. I felt a Julia's theme would have been appropriate tonight, the duff duffs really didn't suit what was otherwise an amazing and emotional episode.

And I kept expecting Zainab to walk in at any moment even when they mentioned the cock and bull couldn't make it excuse.

I was tearing up so sad and so well written having a small cast for that episode really worked :(

So pleased it wasn't just me then!

I agree about the duff duff's but they only use the Julia's theme for characters when they leave but I like those episodes where you only focus on one family and all the acting tonight was brilliant!

It really does'nt seem like Zainab to not only be here for the wedding but also while her daughter goes from this
Yeah, I've got a heart of stone - it takes a lot to make me cry, but that absolutely destroyed me. Heartbreaking and tough to watch doesn't even cover it.
Yeah I'm the same, rarely cry at TV but on the contrary here I couldn't STOP crying </3 Rakhee deserves every single acting award on this planet.
Like others have said, I'm tough as old boots emotionally, yet I got completely choked up watching that. Incredible performances from the actors! The only thing missing was a Julia's theme, the dramatic duff-duffs didn't fit the emotional ending.
I feel like I didn't quite 'enjoy' last night's episode as much as everyone else but mainly because I was anticipating some really shit crying, although I must agree that actually everyone was fantastic, particularly Rakhee and Bonnie. I'll have to give the episode another watch to properly appreciate it.
Absolutely fantastic set of episodes! Trust Eastenders to ruin Shabnam and Kush's big storyline by putting it along side mor eof the bloody Carters :drama:
just watched over a weeks worth of episodes tonight, I am an absolute balling wreck, I don't think I've ever cried so much over a few episodes, even after it was finished I was still going, I didn't expect this storyline to hit me so hard, so much respect for the actress that plays Shabnam and to EE for doing the storyline justice and executing it the way it should be done
I just watched Tuesdays and thought Shabs was great until the random screaming fit she had at the table.

How was that random?

Exactly. I thought it was a very fitting response to Carmel's persistent focus on the wedding.

She'd lost her baby and Carmel was going on and on about the wedding which to her was completely trivial, nothing else to her except the fact her baby just died is going to matter, certainly not a big happy celebration, so that was a more than natural reaction, she wants them all to shut up about other things which of course is understandable.
I've noticed from Gogglebox n general experienced usually it's people from thw South crying at tv - in the North I've never really heard of it happening.
