Not completely sure where they're going with this Stacey 'seeing' her dad thing, but I'm not sure why it was said hallucinations weren't a symptom of bipolar when Stacey definitely did have hallucinations back when she first began suffering it.

I'm wondering if the transgender character with a key is her long lost brother? Perhaps her father had a child with someone else and now this child has a resemblance to him? Maybe the electric shock made her think it was a dream because she passed out. (though my theory doesn't explain why she was speaking to him after the shock)

I've come to conclusion that the baby isn't Kush's. We never saw them have sex but apparently they did. We didn't see Stacey shag Max, Dean, Mick, Phil, Fatboy, Billy, Les, Denny or Gavin during time of conception so it could easily be one of those as well.

Is anyone else seriously pissed off at the way they're destroying Zainab's character? :angry: Never in a million years would Zainab disown her children for no reason, nor would she fail to visit her daughter through the still birth storyline / make that awful comment about 'being for the best'. EE seem to be hellbent on destroying every character atm.

Yeah, I don't really get it. The way they're portraying Zainab seems very out of character. Why is she abandoning her family? She didn't exactly part on bad terms with any of them. I guess the writers know that, realistically, Zainab wouldn't be able to stay away from Shabnam's wedding so they've had to create something to cover up the fact they've been unable to get the actress back. Either that or they're working on getting her back. I thought it was interesting that Masood said she couldn't have Kamil unless she came over and got him herself.

Yeah I agree. I reckon they do know that she's coming back and they've been teasing us with the lame excuses of her not coming back to the Square. There's surely got to be some sort of explanation given for her reasons.

I thought they could just say Zainab is ill or something? And couldn't fly back. It feels like such a lame excuse they say that she doesn't want anything to do with them... Because of Shabnam's secret child I assume and maybe Zair as well out of wedlock, if she came to terms with Syed then I thought she'd be ok. I always thought her beliefs came second to her family, initially things that go against them are hard for her to deal with but it always comes back to her supporting her family, so in this case when Shabnam has lost a child, realistically zainab would come straight back.

I think it was just coincidence because I'm sure I saw them as spoilers on Digital Spy a good week ago. But the point still stands that they're spreading a good message, and not in a preach, shove-it-down-your-throat sort of way.

Zainab really needs to come back with the storylines they're giving the Massood's, Nina is a brilliant actress and I so hope that if Zainab does come back it's still her thay plays her but I don't understand why the writers would rather destroy her character rather than finding another actress to portray her, it's not like they've not done it a million times before.

 

I really like Honey and Billy together tbh and I hope that she moves into another flat on the square, now that Lola and Lexi are gone, Billy could do with having his family back :P
