That look on Abi's face when she finds out Bobby killed the spider. As if to say 'oh I guess my dad was right after all'.
Jack Branning back! I think Ronny wanted Vincent in that trunk but it's fatboy by mistake.

JACK !!!!

Really hope someone other than Fatboy dies, it'd be such an anticlimax but I think like Emma at New Year, everyone who's involved is very unlikely to be written out. It's realistically gonna be Vincent or Fatboy, and with Fatboy leaving it's bound to be him.

Why on Earth would we want Jack Branning back?

Poor Shabnam :(

It took me a moment to realise Jack wasn't even in EE anymore!

I don't known whether I was feeling sentimental tonight but I was not only moved by Shabnam realising Kush was the father, but I was also touched by Fatboy's goodbye to Dot - he's proven himself with his involvement in the Hubbards vs. Mitchells storyline. Typical really, that always happens when sort of secondary characters are about to leave.

Well that was a load of shite. Pretty much no emotion despite it built up to be a character-driven storyline - did Ian and Phil actually care that Dennis had been chucked out a car window whilst it was doing multiple rolls? It was blatantly obvious Vincent wasn't in the car and just as obvious that Fatboy will be in the car and he will be killed off despite it supposedly looking like Dennis is going to die - just a repeat of what happened last New Year, no?

Bit of a disappointed episode, it feels silly if Dennis is killed off, after a re-cast of the character, and exactly after 10 years his father died, which means Ian could go down for killing him instead, if Phil dumps it on him.

I knew it was Fatboy in the trunk though, too obvious for me, as Liam said it just seems like a repeat of last year's.

I think one of the most interesting things for me is that could Kush actually not be the father after all? Could Stacey be deflecting the guilt she has for it not being Martin's onto Kush when in fact the person who *is* the father is actually someone much worse/more inconvenient. When was Max last around?

This.

Jack is pretty terrible and with a lived-in face.

I don't think Ian would go down for "killing" him if he died.. he was just (allegedly) driving the car, but he wasn't over the limit and it would just go down as a car accident no?

Yeah I assume the father is neither of them after the scene with her on the steps. Would make this love-square a bit more intense if there was someone else in the frame and it became a pentagon :o

I enjoyed the episode, very tense throughout and setting up for what could be a brilliant Boxing Day episode.
