Who will we collectively stan for now? :(

Denise, Kim and Patrick are the only characters I feel like I can care about at the moment. Abi at a push but that's because she's inintentionally hilarious.

Denise seems to have had a lobotomy recently. They maybe be overused as f*** but i still adore Mick and Linda*.* Linda is a future icon in the making.

Bit of a shame as Sam Strike has such potential. But good to see the character back I guess, even if his family are pretty overused!

That's surprising! I thought they'd try and lure Sam Strike back - I'm interested to see how a new Johnny will work with the rest of the family.

Nina was on Loose Women yesterday saying she'd probably go back if the producers asked her to. FFS, can it just happen already

I'm not sure it'll work recasting Johnny so soon, I know both Peter and Lauren were recasted but they were younger than Johnny is.

 

Echo everyone's thoughts about Shabnam's departure, one of my favourite characters and one of the best actresses - a major loss for the show!

I'm no longer desperate for a Zainab return. I really wanted to see her with this Shabnam.

Really disappointed that Shabnam's gone :( She ended up being one of the strongest actors and most complex characters.

 

Interesting to see them recast Johnny so soon, but I've always had the feeling that they had big plans for him and it was the actor who cut it short.

The only thing better than a Zainab return would be a CHELSEA return.

Lauren definitely seems to be coming back later this year which is something at least :lol: I was worried Jacqueline jossa just wouldn't come back.

Danniella Westbrook has confirmed she's in talks to return for Peggy's exit storyline but that it's not a permanent return (as expected) because she's planning on joining another soap (I heard she wanted to join Emmerdale so I'm guessing it's that?).
