I thought we should have a thread for this as it's approaching the time where we'll get the first single from the new album :D Liam has confirmed that the new single will be performed on the UK leg of the On the Road Again Tour, meaning we should have it by the 24th September when the UK leg kicks off at the O2 Arena! (didn't realise the night I was going was the first night :kink:)

 

What are we expecting from the boys' first single without Zayn? What do you WANT from it? How will it do chartwise? Discuss anything and everything for this single here!

Judging from interviews from the last week it all will be a bit rockier (fleetwood Mac-ish) and they wrote the songs knowing that Zayn isn't there for adlibs but if you watch vines from the concert you can see that Niall can hit those high notes too.

On first listen, I'm not LOVING IT like their previous lead singles. A few more listens is required I think.

This is atrocious compared to their previous lead singles. Really hoping this will grow, but at the moment there's just... nothing there at all.
