Well it depends on a multitude of different variables! 5 days of sales and audio streaming data, or 5 days of sales and audio streaming data scaled up to 7 days using a weighted matrix?! Will Apple Music actually launch in the UK tomorrow, and if so will the uptake be fast enough to substantially influence the chart next week?

WANT ~ Lost Frequencies / David Zowie / Years & Years

THINK ~ too unpredictable to say at this juncture~

I want an all-new top-3 which last week failed to be due to Flo Rida's underperformance!

Rooting for Y&Y. Do they have any promo lined up? I think it might be a close battle, and a good promo could decide it all, like it kinda did last week, with Tinie suddenly soaring up right before the release and winning it.

But if they (Y&Y) don't have any promo I think they'll be at 3 at most. Hopefully they'll keep that #3, and it's possible: they are doing slightly better than Rita Ora was doing on pre-orders, and that looks like a firm #3 at the moment. Tinie and LF should be weaker next week, especially without huge weekend streaming advantage, so we could actually see an all-new top-3!

So without promo:

1. Zowie

2. Fifth Harmony

3. Lost Frequencies/Tinie/Years&Years

And if Y&Y have a good promo slot(s), then it's all really undecided, they could grab that #1.

Judging by the pre-orders, the other two new entries (Petite and Nathan) will be lucky to go top-30 unfortunately. But maybe Petite will grab that top-20 if she's lucky, due to radios discovering her, and Nathan - just because the former the Wanted fanbase might support him here.

Think: Years & Years.

Want: Fifth Harmony - my 2nd fave of the contenders after Are You With Me but I think that might get #1 this week so would be good if both could get a week.

Think: David Zowie

Want: Major Lazer & DJ Snake feat M.O

I think the pre-orders for David Zowie plus the slight streaming advantage will make the difference but for me Lean On is one of those songs that not ever getting to #1 would be criminal and it is still my favourite song in the charts at the moment.

THINK: Fifth Harmony - Worth It (feat. Kid Ink)

WANT: David Zowie - House Every Weekend

both are great though so wouldn't mind either way. Anywhere in the top 3 would be really amazing for David Zowie anyway. I think having more airplay plus their already built up streams will secure their #1.

Years & Years top 5.

switching this prediction to THINK/WANT: David Zowie - House Every Weekend, 5H are too far behind him on iTunes pre-orders for them to gain and there's not much difference between them on streaming.

would really love this to go to #1 anyway

I'd ideally like the Years & Years record to get #1. It's fast becoming one of my favourite singles this year. So long as anything but that dreadful Fifth Harmony record doesn't get near the top. They're just Pussycat Dolls without Nicole Scherzinger hogging the lead vocal every 5 seconds.
