July 16, 201510 yr It's probably better for Joel to win just so we can avoid "FIX!!!!111!!1" claims. I want her to win just to shut up the stay at home Facebook mums.
July 16, 201510 yr What a travesty! I'm never watching again etc etc  The British public strike AGAIN.
July 16, 201510 yr Author YAAAAAAAAASSSSS So happy for her, such a lovely girl. It's great to see decency triumph (with both the top 2) after the atrocity last year!!
July 16, 201510 yr YAAAASSSS!! Best C5 winner imo. Okay, she might have not been the life and soul of a party but a genuinely nice girl who deserved it I think. She has been enjoyable to watch and not too boring with it either I don't think.

July 16, 201510 yr I'm so glad Chloe won, if only for the fact that it means Joel didn't. (Still salty over Sam being sacrificed to keep her in last Friday tho, since it was pretty clear she had the most votes after Harry).
July 16, 201510 yr I really wasn't expecting that! I would have preferred Joel to win but I'm not complaining at Chloe winning. She's a nice, genuine girl, only downside is that she's not contributed enough, nu Rachel Rice. Best winner since Aaron in BB12 for me.

July 16, 201510 yr Really disappointed. Joel has been in my top 2 from about Week 2, for one minute, I actually thought my favourite could win Big Brother. Sigh. :(

She's deserving enough of the money as a genuinely lovely girl, but she did stick up for herself at times when she needed to and I think her being nice and fun was far better to watch than horrible people like Jack and Danny for example. For me I'm happy for the "best" housemates to the final and somebody nice like Chloe to get the prize.
July 16, 201510 yr After last years horrendous winner I'm really happy to see a nice girl win! I agree, such a contrast!
July 16, 201510 yr Author For such a horrific year I'm just thankful that it was a decent top 2 - the first time I've actually really liked both of the top 2 in any civillian series off th top of my head :o The VT at the end reminded me how brilliantly this series started, it's such a shame that it went to shit so easily with a couple of awful twists. In the first two weeks it was close to C4 BB as weve ever been since it moved to C5 but after that it was further away than ever and I felt really disillusioned with the state of the show.
July 16, 201510 yr I genuinely think it's a case of the wrong people going first. Sarah, Adjoa, Harriet (as much as I didn't like her), Jade, Eileen, The Twins and Kieran going fairly early on caused it harm imo. The whole 4 in 4 out thing wasn't needed, they could have just brought Marc and Harry in at a later stage. Still not convinced Simon did much or brought much to the show except shouting SHOWBIIIZZZZ like a utter spaz and either crying, moaning or being hypocritical.
July 16, 201510 yr I was dead certain Joel would've taken it! While Chloe mostly flew under the radar until about this week, it was super sweet how genuinely overcome with emotion she was and shocked at being crowned the winner. What a rollercoaster of a series!

Definitely, it was that 4 in 4 out twist. I'm just ranking the housemates in the ranking thread and I think the female line-up this year was SO strong! The only male I particularly liked was Joel but Sarah, Harriet and the twins (they really started morphing into less cunty Sallie Axls which was very entertaining) especially could have brought drama and explosiveness to the series WITHOUT stirring I think. Finally they get the casting (half) right, and they still have to ruin it with these stupid twists! If they absolutely had to do it, it should have been EVERYONE up in a vote to save, so those who the public didn't care about would have actually done. Then again that would have ousted Chloe at such an early stage :o

Agreed, I don't think it was a poorly cast series at all. In fact, the only housemates I'd class as properly disposable would be Cristian and possibly Adjoa (I know some would argue Sam, but she made me laugh like f***, and was actually a bit of light relief amidst all the arguments); all the others played an important role in some way or another. It sucked to see 4 decent housemates evicted as early as week 2, but then again, their replacements all brought something to the table too. Honestly, I'd rather have kept all 8 and done away with the so-called 'legends' twist.
July 16, 201510 yr Not gonna lie, Helen being put in her place by Nikki, Aisleyne and Brian was a highlight for me. So I would still keep that.
