Good album sales, her best for this release to date. Disappointing to see a re-hashed Cilla Balck best of over taking her in chart position.

Thursday Mids: #111 'Santa Baby', #127 'Only You', #18 Kylie Christmas (18.3k sold this week so far).

So hopefully squeaking past 20k some point tomorrow.

I would hope Kylie can hold a top 20 position for this week as she has slipped in each of the updates, despite promotion.

Been told she is singing Gonna Be Warm This Winter on Strictly......... the song is only 2min29 long... blink and you will miss it.......

wish she could sing 2 songs

on another note why is Only You moving back up ITunes chart....

was 120th this morning now 91st....

Meh, I so wish she'd have chosen something else both for Royal Variety and Strictly. It almost feels like they're wasting good promo slots by not showcasing the best the album has to offer.

I wonder if she is saving the best song for Graham Norton on Xmas week for maximum affect and best charting song that week? doubtful I know but.......

I am still surprised so much made of this J Corden duet and no promo...... it could actually do ok after Xmas too as not a 100% Christmas song so maybe holding back?

good to see Kylie Christmas in BBC Radio 2's Album of the Week from Saturday :)

and Every Day's Like Christmas is 'A' Listed

I'm really liking this SAW remix of 'Every Day's Like Christmas'! The original is good but missing that oomph which this just delivers perfectly.

I like both versions but looks like they missed the boat again with this song.

its like she has lost the plot with singles...... but its the album that I guess is more important....... but a big single can sell an album

I suppose if the record company are insistent on believing Kylie has a chance for the Christmas #1 spot, then they'll start promoting this song in a couple of weeks.

Well I have now heard contradicting info that Everyday Like Christmas will be sung on Strictly and CICTYGH will be used a little bit as background too

but now just seen the playlister for this weekend and ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/playlists/zzzzhg where it lists Warm this Winter..... but then again Josh Groban sang last week and he isn't even on the playlist for that week so maybe it is just music on the show rather than what she will sing.

Lucky lucky lucky lucky Florence!

Hopefully the song listed for Kylie is for a group dance or something. She must surely sing EDLC...though an uptempo one could work if she was part of the dance, as she has done previously. That way we can understand the song selection.

Not for Kylie, not with a Christmas album.

I can see where he's coming from, but for starters trying to get Kylie a hit single in this day and age would be too much of an uphill struggle and I really think they've got the strategy with this project spot on so far.
She could easily get a top 40 Xmas song with either Every Day or Only You....... its just making it happen...... I am hoping they still have something up there sleeve for the next few weeks to really boost sales
Christmas will be long over in a few weeks.
It is wonderful it managed to stay top 20 as it was slipping through the week. I would hope she can improve her position again this coming week and also increase sales from this week.
