Mercy      :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Oh gosh I love this song so so so so so much, still my 3rd favourite song ever (behind Kelly and Idina) and such an amazing song that never got old  Mercy solidified my love for music and Duffy was the 1st act I ever saw live, gosh this is so amazing

WHALE WHALE WHALE its Duffy

Shirlena Johnson did this better *.

Duffy>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>everyone else's faves.

She gets way too much hate here. Mercy is a tune.

Mercy! This was unbelievably massive at the time, whatever happened to Duffy?

I do much prefer Warwick Avenue though, all time classic ballad

'Whale Whale Whale' happened.

'Whale Whale Whale' happened.

I didn't even think it was that bad :kink:

I still expected her 2nd era to be massive based on the success of her first.

Controversially love Well Well Well too but I can very much understand why most despise it. What a career killer.

Just Missed The Cut So Far:

2005- 21. Snoop Dogg featuring Justin Timberlake & Charlie Wilson- Signs

2006- 21. The Automatic- Monster

2007- 21. Fergie- Big Girls Don't Cry

2008- 21. Jordin Sparks- No Air

Don't recall signs but shame to see the other 3 just miss out. Monster is a tune, big girls don't cry is one of my favourites ever and so beauitful and no air is also great

Ew Hero :puke2: :puke2: Thank gosh their not playing much of it

Hallelujah though  Remains so beauitful and the best X-Factor winners single

These X Factor Finalists tracks were mostly all a bore but I do have a soft spot for this one.

2. X Factor Finalists - Hero

1. Alexandra Burke - Hallelujah

Okay so the only song I like in the entire top 5 of 2008 is by NICKELBACK. Good grief.

Let us not even speak of the horror at #1 of this year.

Duffy>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>everyone else's faves.

Only if you like people who sing like a duck.

Definitely one of the better winner's songs.

Strangely I kinda like all 3 popular versions of this. Sign of great song!

Alexandra Burke dominating the top 2

shame her career is on "hold" right now, she was mostly great for the few years she was relevant

Prefer the orginal version of Hallelujah

And quickly, in case you need something to do on Sundays in two weeks time, I have made the Personal Charts forum on plug.dj so you can play your personal charts.

Hearing this literally makes me sick, example of how to ruin a beautiful song.

2009 next which is much better tho :cheer:

2009 what a year  I hope anyway, I loved most stuff but can't remember if the best selling ones were among my faves.

Prefer the orginal version of Hallelujah

really? I think the original is crap, Jeff Buckley and Alex Burke's covers are both great though.
