Gaga, Black Eyed Peas and Cheryl/X Factor pretty much sum up 2009 music.

 

Gaga's debut! I remember not liking this on the first listen but it soon grew on me and the rest was history. 'The Fame' <3

I will attempt to listen along to these things, just woken up and didn't even realise this was happening. Shame I missed the earlier years but I'm sure most of this will be good.

 

Although I Gotta Feeling is a slightly... shaky start.

I Gotta Feeling is such a feel good tune & essential pre-night out music.

 

Also I have no doubt that had streaming been as big then as it is now this would have been the first track to manage a year unbroken top 40.

'I Gotta Feeling' :wub: I know this was overplayed to death but I cannot help but love the utter euphoria of it, a lot of good memories attached. :heart:

Ooh 'Poker Face'! The music video to this is the first time I properly clicked with GaGa, I remember being so impressed by the aesthetics of the vid. Hence why my BJ avatar has remained unchanged for four years! :kink:

This doesn't really FEEL like the all time classic it seemed to be destined to become at the time, but it's still v. good, maybe it's Gaga's recent decline that has made me appreciate her older material a bit more.
