Q: N-Lazone // Preditah - Supernatural (ft. Yasmin)

Despite finishing last in the final twice a row, this is a fourth consecutive qualifier for Nick with another Kylienips recycled artist (Yasmin’s On My Own finished 8th for them in BJSC 30)! Supernatural’s deep house feel has the makings of a commercial hit, but we’ll see whether it’s a BJSC hit in next week’s final.

Q: Varakë: pr0files - Luxury

Varakë racism is no more :o It’s been 6 DNQs since Varakë last made the final, but pr0files is a turnaround in Luke’s luck. This blog pop sounding track is given the luxury (lololol) of making the final, but will Varakë racism stop it in its tracks in the final?

(not going too fast am I?)

how even are Usfland not last?!? poor Desbuanda :(

yay for Thelonia and Tinnmark though, back to greatness for both so they're deserved qualifers

YAS Varakë. Just as I had fresh worries for them as their song was quite similar to Desbuanda's.

Woo for N-Lazone also. They'll probably do better than last place this time :kink:

Yes! Nice to be announced first!

Desbuanda came last?! :o

28th Usfland // David Jordan - Set The Mood // 16pts (3 votes)

I have to admit, I got null pointer teas from this and got quite excited I could perhaps announce the first ever 0pts in BJSC history :kink: This sounds to me so much like something that would be track 12 on a Guy Sebastian album in 2004, but it did connect with 3 people enough for some points so yay for Mack in a way.

Set The Mood needs to win some kind of most ill-advised BJSC song award really, that was never gonna do well (plus it's AWFUL)
Poor brave Mack. 28th is a victory tbh ~ It's not even THAT bad a song, just not the sort of thing that like... anyone would vote for. Yet 10% of people have apparently. Slay.

it is utterly butterly shite

Q: Federal Republic Of Ashton // ROMANS - Uh-Huh

BJSC newcomer ROMANS brings Silas back to the final after a shock unjust DNQ with Daphne & Celeste last month. This is a bit more alternative than a lot of Ashtonise entries, but will this pay off in the final? The track had some hype at the start of the semis, but time will tell if the hype was right…

Q: Hendinia // RUUMER - House Of Cards

Random.org picking two captalised artists together *.* Rob is behind one of the most consistently successful countries (he’ll revel in me saying that) and this huge pop track has real hype behind it as a contender to win, so Hendinia’s reputation may well be upheld in the final.

Qualifiers:

Thelonia

Tinnmark

N-Lazone

Varakë

Federal Republic Of Ashton

Hendinia

Set The Mood isn't THAT bad, I used to love David Jordan's album. That said, it would have only ranked about 16th for me if I was voting in Semi 2 so wouldn't have got points.
