And today is 16 years since they were formed on Popstars: The Rivals! :o

Ooh this is quite fitting as I listened to the chart where they debuted at #1 (on Mixcloud) just the other day

11 years since 'Tangled Up' is insanity :drama:

Today's date marks 13 years since 'Chemistry' was released!

Including the Top 10 hits Biology (#4), Whole Lotta History (#6), Long Hot Summer (#7) and See The Day (#9).

The album peaked at #11 (which still haunts me to this day xox) and it had sold 390,000 copies as of March 2013.

I remember going out and buying the Christmas edition for myself, and the standard for my then first boyfriend as a Christmas present. (Obviously I knew back then where my priorities were).

That #11 does haunt me too, especially as I remember it was ultra close to making #10. 'Not Tonight Santa' deserves to become a Christmas classic.

^ I’ve still not forgiven Sugababes and PCD for their price drops that week :kink: Started lower in the mids but ended above GA, tut.

Sound of the Underground (single) was released on this date 16 years ago!

I know it's just articles gathering a selection of tweets which should hardly count as journalism, but yes at this making headlines.
 dead at articles being created for this! What a moment though *.*
Today's date marks 16 years since Sound of the Underground entered the UK charts at #1, making it 2002's Christmas #1.

As if!!! I remember how excited I was that they won, my family were telling me all evening during the ceremony not to get my hopes up, especially after they lost the award for British Group so it really was an incredible, special moment 😍

My issue though is why did they only ever get to perform at the ceremony once?

15 years since The Show was released :o :drama:

Will we need to wait another 15 years for someone to change that default video picture? *_*

I don't know if i really even like looking back now. That Ten reunion ended in such a bitter way i was angry, they completely pulled the wool over my eyes i really did think they were very good friends and they wern't ever gonna slag each other with sly diggs and tactics following the band, so i'm disappointed in them and it makes the whole thing really unauthentic and fake now in my eyes.

Looking at the Spice Girls, four girls genuinely who love and care for each other. I don't think Girls Aloud could ever be genuinely that close again. With three members practically joined at the hip and the other two ah-whol a reunion doesn't even have the same buzz for me.

Don't rush back girls, sort out your issues then you can have my £ for TWENTY.
