July 2, 20169 yr I 100% agree on Miscommunication there, the clear misstep on Mistaken Identity for me. As for Running Away, I think I prefer the live version from the Believe Again tour to the studio version, it has more oomph to it. Innocent Eyes - In My Own Time Mistaken Identity - Miscommunication Delta - Possessionless (I find there to be a few missteps on this album looking back :( shame because the highs are very high, ended up half great and half filler really) Child of the Universe - I Lost All Love 4 You (although this wasn't so clear cut) Wings of the Wild - I'm Not Giving Up (actually enjoying Only Human more in the context of the album now) I agree, though I do love Posessionless. I remember on the first listen through I expected to be bowled over once again, as it opened with the epic Believe Again and fantastic In This Life, but it never really hits anywhere near those two highs again for me. The only other song I still listen to regularly from it is Brave Face.
July 3, 20168 yr Now #1 on Australian iTunes following her performance on 'The Voice'! :cheer: 1u5Rm8cFJd8 Full video: http://www.9jumpin.com.au/show/the-voice/v.../5019465537001/
July 3, 20168 yr Yeah the album is lining up at number 1. The renaissance her career is on right now is remarkable and amazing. Couldn't happen to a better artist.
July 3, 20168 yr Time for a Delta rank update, it's been a while since I've done a top 20: 1. Believe Again 2. Extraordinary Day 3. Innocent Eyes 4. Wings 5. Born To Try 6. Mistaken Identity 7. Hunters And The Wolves 8. Not Me, Not I 9. A Year Ago Today 10. Out Of The Blue 11. Electric Storm 12. Enough 13. Wish You Were Here 14. Be Strong 15. Sitting On Top Of The World 16. Lost Without You 17. Together We Are One 18. Predictable 19. Dear Life 20. In My Own Time All of these are 9.5/10+ songs for me. Will be interesting to see if any others from the new album can break into this.
July 3, 20168 yr Exceptional performance, it just had everything required to make an epic performance - a choir, violinists, massive screen with a few seconds of Sergey-esque interaction from Gizzle and ultimately an epic song!
July 3, 20168 yr Enough is #14 at the moment, I don't know how likely it is to go that much higher but its purpose is to help shift the album, I really hope she can beat Blink-182, but I'm expecting a #2 debut.
July 3, 20168 yr Is it bad that I Believe in a Thing Called Love is my current favourite track? It's so sublime.
July 4, 20168 yr 'Enough' is now up to #8 on iTunes. Performances from Today: msktt183gOw DOFPIP8HL0A
July 5, 20168 yr Everytime I watch her perform Dear Life I get goosebumps. How can somebody that extremely good be so underated around the world. Her vocals are flawless and effortless. She really is one of the best female vocalist of this generation. She sometimes even reminds me of Celine Dion the way she delivers some of the notes she does. Incredible, always loved her but this past year think it's safe to say I'm a definite Delta Stan
July 9, 20168 yr New at #1 in Australia, achieving what Child Of The Universe couldn't :cheer: To me it feels as if her relevance is higher this era than at any point since Mistaken Identity, even in the UK where the album has gone top 100 on sales/top 30 on download sales. Enough is #33 on the singles chart mind you, not exactly a smash despite The Voice performance :drama: Quite shocking considering Dear Life went top three but I guess people have gone for the album instead. July 9, 20168 yr I got mine in the post this morning, but I ordered from an eBay reseller, not Sanity, as it was a lot cheaper.
July 9, 20168 yr I'm really enjoying 'Enough', it's certainly no 'Wings' but it's an improvement on 'Dear Life'!
July 9, 20168 yr I adore the artwork to this campaign, aside from the actual album cover. The pictures and design inside the booklet are stunning.
July 10, 20168 yr Video: https://www.facebook.com/TheVoiceAu/videos/1098242523589512/ Team Delta has also just won The Voice! :cheer:
