February 19, 20169 yr Amazing that it has basically sold out everywhere. I read that this is the biggest European girl group tour this decade. Not bad really.
March 4, 20169 yr Who's got tickets for what date? I'm going to put in the opening thread where everyone is.
March 4, 20169 yr A while back it was said that Word Up will not be performed.... When was this confirmed and by who? The only spoilers I've seen are a couple of songs mentioned that ARE being performed as mentioned on the LM Twitter.

March 14, 20169 yr Lol at them not bothering to perform Love Me Or Leave Me RAGING. The setlist is MESSY. Secret Love Song deserves a better slot.
March 14, 20169 yr Have to say I was quite shocked by that too, but too many ballads at concerts can kill the vibe
March 14, 20169 yr I thought the setlist worked SO well! It was unexpected and so much fun. And everytime they slowed it down with a ballad, they went HA later. CYL then A.D.I.D.A.S.. Little Me then Lightning/Little Me mash-up and SLS then OMG!
March 14, 20169 yr I really like the setlist too! Though I'd have had Wings and Move a little later in the setlist. I honestly think 3 ballads is enough, though I'd have preferred Love Me or Leave Me over Little Me
March 14, 20169 yr I really would have thought they'd save 'Secret Love Song' for the encore, before 'Black Magic', but oh well.
March 14, 20169 yr Oh Jade loves Little Me too much to over let it go lol I like the song too, just wish they'd cut it a little bit, it's too long. I dislike all ballads on GW besides SLS so I was more than fine with them not performing any of them, but a lot of fans were upset. They probably left LMOLM because they don't like it (they said it barely made the album) or because it would hurt their voices with so many shows without resting days and sometimes 2 in 1 day. Saving SLS for the encore would be smart, I like that idea. But I also LOVED "The Beginning" video interlude so I get that they had to do The End after Edited March 14, 20169 yr by MrLoverboy

March 15, 20169 yr 5/5 Stars in The Metro this morning for their Cardiff show :o Bournemouth tonight is another pretty small venue. I hope that when they do Newcastle on Thursday, there's some surprises, as it'll be a bigger venue with more opportunities. Catwalk/B stage please.
March 15, 20169 yr I don't think this article works unless you have a Music Week account so here: How Little Mix became the UK's biggest arena act Little Mix have been tipped for global superstardom as they set out on the biggest UK arena tour of 2016. The band will play 34 arena dates – including matinees – for The Get Weird UK & Ireland tour, which kicked off last night at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena. Solo Agency’s John Giddings, who represents Little Mix, said he had not known anything like it since booking Westlife in the mid-2000s. “You estimate what you’re going to be capable of, and then as soon as you go on sale you know that you’re going to be able to double up [on shows]in some cities,” he told Music Week. “But on this tour we’ve added twice again because the demand just never stops - they’re the biggest girl band in the world at the moment.” Giddings’ roster predominantly consists of long-established stars such as Madonna, U2, Sting, Phil Collins, Celine Dion, Boyzone and The Corrs. But the Isle Of Wight Festival promoter made an exception for Little Mix, who back in 2011 became the first and so far only group to win The X Factor. “I could tell when I met them that they had the will to win,” he said. “However good you are at your job, you’ve got to deal with an artist who wants to succeed and will put in the time and energy. “If you look at the schedule those girls have delivered over the last couple of years, it’s absolutely extraordinary; their workload is bigger than the royals.” Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee of Modest Management manage the quartet, and Giddings credits this as a crucial factor. “[Griffiths and Magee] know how to project things internationally and how to succeed, because these days you’ve got to deal with management companies that know how to work that side of things as well,” he said. Promoted by SJM Concerts, it is Little Mix’s third headlining tour following their debut DNA concert hall run of 2013 and The Salute tour of arenas in 2014. Their latest album Get Weird, on Syco Music, is their best-selling to date, with sales of 475,554, while No.1 single Black Magic has shifted 750,546 copies so far. Giddings believes the sky is the limit for the band in terms of their worldwide popularity. “I think it’s going to explode internationally,” he predicted. “We put the European dates on sale in June and they sold out in a morning. “They’ve sold more tickets than they’ve sold albums so far in Europe, which is unheard of for this kind of artist. We’re playing Japan and Australia [in May], and by the end of this year they’re going to have cracked it big time.” Only Take That have performed more arena shows in a calendar year this decade, racking up a total of 41 in their homeland in 2015.
March 15, 20169 yr That article is amazing. I loved the bit about selling more tickets than albums internationally (although I guess that'll be down to a lot of fans being young girls and boys who have to be accompanied)! Why do they still feel extremely under appreciated though? I'm so excited for the tour. Looking forward to witnessing how much they've improved since the last tour!
