15. Jessie J feat. David Guetta - Laserlight (6.17)

So the first single from one of Jessie's albums to fall is the second single from the re-release of 'Who You Are'. Released in Spring of 2012, 'Laserlight' continued Jessie's massively successful era, becoming the era's 7th single and her 6th top 10 hit, peaking at an impressive #5 on the UK Singles Chart. It saw a move away from her normal "meaningful" lyrics and instead was criticised by many fans for just being aimed at creating a club hit. The song has certainly split opinions on here too, receiving a few 10's but also a -1 and many other low scores. This has always been my least favourite Jessie release, at the time I didn't think it seemed like what she should be doing, and I still don't think so. Personally glad to see the back of 'Laserlight'.

'Laserlight' is one of her strongest singles for me! :( It is generic, but it's the best type of generic!
I am actually at a loss why Who's Laughing Now is not announced yet. It is a song that is genuinely incredibly horrifying to listen to.
Remember Me and Up are both very average, funnily enough I was just thinking that "Up" was an attempt at "Broken Strings" Pt II. "Laserlight" is definitely my least fave from her first album, so generic and bland. I do agree that Repeat was a million times better.

Oh no Laserlight was another great collab with Guetta :nocheer:

Hopefully Repeat will SLAY :smoke:

Completely forgot to vote in this (would probably be too much hate anyway x) but 'Remember Me' is my favourite thing she's ever been involved with.

14. Jessie J - Sweet Talker (6.23)

So next to fall out is one of her newest releases, the title track from Jessie's 3rd studio album 'Sweet Talker'. The song acted as the 3rd single from the newest era, however despite the messy release schedule and the lack of music video, the song failed to chart in the UK, where it was released. I personally think this Diplo produced track is one of her best for a while and a definite album highlight. I found the low scores on here rather surprising but maybe the lack of promotion and attention meant it wasn't given time to grow on people? Either that or you guys just don't like it that much. Probably the latter.

"Sweet Talker" was a pointless release, it just seems after "Bang Bang" was massive, there was barely any attention for the follow up's, "Burnin' Up" was poorly promoted as all attention was still on "BB" and ended up bombing. "Masterpiece" was quite decent and did do well in a couple of countries, but was totally ignored in the UK. Apparently they're not giving up on this era as "Ain't Been Done" is rumoured to being the next single, but kinda pointless if u ask me as it won't do well.

Anyway I think "Burnin' Up" will be the next one to drop here. I predict that "Domino", "Price Tag" or maybe "Who You Are" to win this.

13. Jessie J - It's My Party (6.35)

So unlucky for some - including this track - out at number 13 is 'It's My Party'. Possibly her single that splits opinion the most, it is no surprise to see it fall pretty early on in the rate. Many of you love it, with it recieving as many as three 11's, but also recieving multiple -1's throughout the rate. When first premiered the song got much criticism for screechy vocals and continuing her lyrics based around her 'haters'. However enough fans and casual buyers found the song catchy and fun enough to place it at #3 on the UK Singles Chart when first released. Apart from 'Laserlight', this is by far the worst thing she has put her name to so I am so glad it didn't manage to get any higher.

Ah yes the infamous It's My Party the one that gives you an instant ban on plug.dj if you play it

I don't love it but I think it's quite a fun track. Don't see why there's so much hate on it here especially seeing pop is probably the most popular genre here :o

Not too fussed on this, I agree find it way too screechy and honestly just sounds like a left over Katy Perry track. They were obviously trying to re-create "Domino" with this, but just didn't work.

12. Jessie J - Who's Laughing Now? (6.60)

So next to go is 'Who's Laughing Now', the 4th single from Jessie's debut album 'Who You Are'. Another song about having the last laugh against her haters, the track was made a single by Jessie because she claimed she wanted to release it to help anyone who had once been bullied. Despite the meaningful intentions behind the songs release, it maybe wasn't the best commercial choice, as the song because the only single from her debut era not to chart in the UK top 10, instead stalling at #16. It is a decent track but definitely not one of her best singles. The main saving grace for me is the fantastic music video.
