Actually this is quite good. Not a big fan of him but like the occasional song.
I heard this yesterday and thought it was already an album track.

Back up to #7 on iTunes following his X Factor performance... smashed it and shut a few of his critics up from last week! Loved the cool, sexy vibes of it all. Definitely needs to persue this sound more on album 6, it works for him!

Double post, oops!

Im not the biggest fan of Kiss Me, i like it but its not one of my faves from him. It was a good performance and good to see it climbing, maybe a new peak this week. It has had a steady chart run so far so it will have decent enough sales in the end.
Kiss Me is the best Olly song. I'm so glad it's finally properly taking off. His X Factor performance was really decent.

I loved the performance as well! It was different to his other 'homecoming' performances he's done for singles on the show in the past but I loved that it kept in the moody, slightly sultry vibe of the single, bit of a Miami Vice type vibe with the lighting as well. (He's also looking great as well. Personal trainer has worked out well for him!)

I fear Olly will have to work a little harder with his next album. The new Never Been Better version is not performing as good as expected. The original also sold in much lower numbers than all his previous albums. I believe he needs to go all out on his next release. Up did fantastically well and helped sell the album but follow up singles failed to do the same.

Olly's career has and is going wonderfully well, but, i think he needs to really focus and not let anything slip.

Well 'Never Been Better' came out in a different market to the one the previous two did, but half a million is not by any means shabby for any artist to be selling in this day and age. Not everyone can be Ed Sheeran and it's unrealistic to expect otherwise.

And it wasn't just 'Up' that sold this album, 'Wrapped Up' did too and was a huge hit, would have probably been #1 itself had it not run into Band Aid 30, and even though 'Seasons' and 'Beautiful to Me' weren't top 10/20s they still did very well on airplay charts. 'Kiss Me' has been top 20 with a longer chart run and more sustained sales and airplay.

He's had a huge tour that was his biggest yet this year, not just in the UK but Australia, Japan and Europe too, and X Factor of course. No sane person could get a new album recorded on top of all that.

Never Been Better had sales of almost 600,000 before this new version. I am not suggesting he should have released a brand new album. The point i was mentioning is, Olly's sales have declined, still remain very healthy bu,t before a further decline sets in, he should try and turn it around and achieve a sales increase like he has previously done. The singles from Never Been Better performed to varying levels of success in different areas but i feel the era was not as big as previous eras he had. That also said, the new version of this album is not selling nearly as much as his last extended release.

I adore Olly, he is wonderful, and i want his success to continue for years to come. As a fan, i am saying he needs to keep focused on his music.

Up did fantastically well and helped sell the album but follow up singles failed to do the same.

It's hardly surprising, they made a complete pigs ear of the single choices after that point. How did they ever think releasing 'Seasons' was at all a good idea?

Looks as if this is finally heading for the top 10 on Friday! He's on the Live Lounge on Radio 1 tomorrow :)

Excellent turn in the Live Lounge today! He covered 'Perfect' by 1D (and did it better than them) and 'Kiss Me' as well.

If this does not reach top 10 status this Friday, it never will. It was number 9 in the official mid week information, Kiss Me has remained itunes top 10 all week and he is promoting. It would be wonderful for it to finally make top 10 status 2 months after release.
Really hope this goes Top 10 for Olly as the follow up won't be troubling the Top 100! Everyone needs to give the track and remixes a few streams to help keep him at #10
Ends the week at the annoying number 11. On a more positive note, it has managed to re-peak almost 2 months after its release.
